I havent found a guide for this anywhere else, and i know im like a year late, but will speed dating allow you to skip levels of jobs or hobbies? Like having to get 40 wisdom or level 5 wizard to progress?

I totally thought I was alone in this. Genshin Impact looks like a fun game, but I can't play it without inverting the Y axis. On another note, I was going to uninstall the game but when the crying chibi character appeared, I didn't have the heart to remove the game... well played game developers LOL :)

You could have kept going without paying. You did not hit a paywall that blocked your progress, there was still things you could do to keep going. You will come upon points where progress is slow, and paying will speed that up, but not a wall and you CAN keep going without paying. I got to league 22-23 pretty quickly and seemed stalled but in a few more days of grinding started to make good progress until around 18, then another stalling point until eventually made to 16, where I am now grinding to continue past that point. I am still able to upgrade my mercs and find new ones, so although a bit slow again it is not blocking my progress. I still have not even purchased any extras crate slots. I just fight 4 times and collect the WIN CRATE. If there are events to play, spend time on those as well. Manage the squad, set a timer to remind me when to come back to open the fight crates, and quit the game. The game IS very predatory regarding paying, and the constant sale popups are irritating, but I am still having fun with it. And I have not spent any real money at all.

Feel stuck at league 19. I actually enjoy the gameplay, but I can tell I'm not really going anywhere. Not spending money on this. Also, lol @ the small amount of scenes you can unlock.
