That's a great idea!

This piece is called Kenzan. It made of either copper or steel. It is quite heavy in weight. The top are many needles that we can place the stems and branches on the needles so it holds tight. Most of the Japanese used the Kenzan to arrange their Ikebana flowers. To answer your question. There is no dirt inside the Kenzan as it made of coppers or steels. It can’t hold any dirt inside.
