Yep when I suggested this idea of Discord I kind of guessed that either Endor or Yavin would be number one. And I did kind of expect battle of Coruscant to be on there even if it was rigged for the C.I.S to lose. Though the selection is still different because I expected the 1st battle of Geonosis to be one there somewhere and I'm glad it wasn't. Though I'm guessing its probably because I said only five if it was higher then maybe it could be on there. But who knows maybe in the future we could see a battle of the top five most pivotal battles of the Clone Wars.

I usually have a hard time picking favorites but my top 3 would probably be the same except swap out the Magister-class with the Revenge-class Heavy Carrier from the classic fan film series IMPS: The Relentless except with an updated design to better fit the Star Wars aesthetic. One of my main criticisms of the first episode of that series was that it came out in 2005 I believe (and started production in 1999) and so because of that a lot of the designs reflect that time period more. There’s a lot of stuff in that episode that more closely resembles Battlestar Galactica than Star Wars. One specific instance of this is that before ships entered hyperspace they basically created a wormhole that they jump through which I didn’t really like. As the series progressed though it got a lot better at feeling like Star Wars.

I always interpreted the back hangar on the Magister as being there for shuttles during planetary sieges/blockades. That way should a fight breakout they wouldn't need to expose themselves, especially with the open design of the Magister offering a lot less cover. Then there’s the forward hangars that feel like their for assault/boarding shuttles or capturing smaller ships.

The Sun Crusher was absolutely overkill and definitely a bit much for a superweapon, especially because of its small size as well. It’s not the only super weapon that could cause stars to explode, but it’s certainly the most well known. The Sun Crusher’s armor I love… but nothing else- I believe the other involved Sith Rituals and was actually destroyed by a Sun exploding as a betrayal backstab to eliminate a rival. The Death Star was the ultimate tool of terror that you could never escape from. It wasn’t meant to be used more than a few times because blowing up planets is a massive loss of resources. Yet it was such a massive sinkhole of resources and the Empire’s best personnel that when it was destroyed it hurt the economy and lost the Empire their best and brightest. The loss of the second Death Star caused a massive impact to the economy of the galaxy. The Galaxy Gun was designed in the time the Executor Class Star Dreadnought was only 8 kilometers instead of the Canonical 19 kilometers. But the Galaxy Gun wasn’t even fully functional either… not all the torpedos even exploded on impact. The Star Forge… the most dangerous factory in the galaxy. It fed on the power of the star and the Dark Side itself, which also fed on its users. The problem with the Star Forge’s Rakatan technology was that initially the technology was reliant on usage of the force to use. The Infinite Empire was a vast empire, but they could only travel to planets powerful in the force. The Star the Star Forge is on is the original one used by the Infinite Empire next to their home world. I’m not aware of it eating a Star completely, but it probably could after a million years… Huh… no World Devastators? For shame~

Nice video on the super weapons of Star Wars. To be fair thinking about it having a Super Weapon that is essentially a massive factory would probably be very efficient. You just have to move it into a system and start having it churn out ships and droids. Then use those to subjugate a system. It is probably better than blowing up a planet. Because blowing up a planet is more of a statement. One trying to show fear.

Sorry for the video quality, for some reason my editing software has been making the clips really bad looking during the exporting. I have Premiere Pro but its a much slower editing software and becuase of the lack of time I have to make videos due to managing a very high workload for school its quicker to edit using worse software. Hopefully over my winter break I can spend a little more time and use the tools at my disposal to make even better videos for you!

As someone who has this feels true.

In the old Legends timeline an Imperial Moff created the TIE Defender before he went rogue. Thrawn created something called the Missile Boat that was used to counter the Defender with precise missile attacks. The easiest way to push the Defender was her to lie and say she made it, because the Empire is human centered and is racist against all alien races. It’s also patriarchal to a degree, but having her pitch the idea and take ownership could have made it more palatable to the Empire. Tho… the TIE Defender was too expensive to ever reach mass production. Useful and amazing, but a definite overcompensation to be sure.

My personalized Imperial fleet would include: A single World Devastator, 2 Interdictor-Class Star Destroyers, 6 Lancer-Class Frigates, and 1 Ton-Falk-Class escort carrier. The super weapon may be cheating, but it’s also the primary attacking vessel. Every other choice is meant for long range support and defending those long range supports. The main strikecraft would be TIE Interceptors, Missile Boats, and TIE/D Automated Starfighters. Maybe some TIE Bombers as well. Definitely a preventative screen for the support vessels and a good kick at enemy vessels~

Mine is the Starscape-Class Yacht from KOTOR 2, G0T0’s flaagship being the one shown and lost well known. Modernized it would likely have better defenses and be a far better yacht.

Honestly I have similar thoughts on the show. I think it looks like a decent show I’m hoping it does well when it comes out. I might watch it even the though the story doesn’t really appeal to me. But I can understand that nostalgic feeling they’re going for. As a homage to 80s coming of age films with that Spielberg adventure vibe. But it’s really out of place in the era right now Considering it’s post-Endor. And well it’s a 1980s American suburb in Star Wars it doesn’t make any sense to me. But this is just my opinion.
