I would be surprised if Chaos Blast doesn’t return as a part of Shadow’s chaos powers, fingers crossed it does!!

Thank you for making this! It was a true blast to be able to duke it out as Terry in Rivals of Aether. I’ll check out the Rivals Workshop every so often to see the changes you make and how awesome Terry’s Buster Wolf is once it’s completed!!

It would be awesome to have a stage represent the Sonic storybook games. Even if it’s just one level, having it included could hopefully bring a few alternate costumes for Shadow too… there’s so much potential for this game to be quite creative with customization!

Sounds like a plan! This new Morrigan looks quite unique and will be one of the first workshop characters I tackle next. By the way, I covered the old version of her in my Rivals Workshop Playlist if interested in seeing how that iteration of her fared in battle!!

If this ends up being the final list of stages I would be content. It would be nice though to have a few more as surprise additions like Hang Castle and Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes. Perhaps toward the end of the game throw in say Sky Troops and Death Ruins or maybe even Digital Circuit just to see how insanely epic it would be with an updated design!

Doom morph definitely

The Doom Morph seems like it might be the most useful with helping find different paths through a level that could only be accessed by using that specific power. I can’t wait to see how all of these fit into Shadow’s gameplay!

⁠@@anthonygarland8839when I first saw the Doom Blast I was hoping it’d be similar to Chaos Blast from Shadow the Hedgehog with it doing damage to any enemies within close range. I’m happy with how these abilities help to hopefully make the levels offer more replay value, provide exclusive alternate paths for setting new times and maybe having a few other Doom Powers unlocked after progressing to certain parts of the game as a reward!

Besides the version of Open Your Heart that’s in Sonic Generations, my favorite is from a Best of Sonic Album that has an impressive remix featuring Bentley Jones with Crush 40!

Fingers crossed about Black Comet returning along with a monumental glow up in Sonic X Shadow. Speaking of Shadow’s Doom Powers… I’m dropping a video this weekend all about them and also what I think SEGA has planned for Shadow going forward to help him stand out even more from the rest of Sonic’s friends, enemies, and everyone in between!

I hope that at the very least the Movie Characters end up being included as DLC if that’s what end up being the case for them. I rather have at least the most popular ones in the base game for the sake of it. I guess as long as they’re in at all I’ll be content!

Besides the Black Comet, I think Sky Troops and Lava Shelter would be two stages that would look incredible if they would return. White Acropolis specifically would be a solid choice with Kingdom Valley!

Same here! I’d absolutely love if the Movie Characters that were in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 would be secret unlockable fighters that we would have to earn by having either a certain amount of Zeni from the World Tournament modes or by wishing for them via Summoning Shenron. Either way I hope they’re included in Sparking Zero!

With both of those stages being important storywise hopefully they end up making it into the game!

I’m holding out hope that at least a few of the most popular Movie Characters end up making the games base roster!

@Azure4Shore Cooler would've been revealed by now, Broly has been revealed and no one else is that popular besides Metal Cooler and Janemba who'd make great dlc

@ryanthecringeanimator9541 the Dragon Ball Super version of Broly is a given here… but having all the forms for Z Broly, Cooler, Janemba and either Android 13 or Bojack would be nice to have right when the game comes out. Just my two cents!

@user-hk5zj8hv6z even after months of seeing debates rage over whether or not the Movie characters will end up making it into the game… I’m still holding out hope that at least a handful of the most popular ones show up on the final roster! Then the rest could be saved for later DLC to keep the game going!!

This is a solid list! It would be amazing to have Neo Metal Sonic, Emerl, the Gun commander and Mephiles return as their own dedicated Boss fights. Time will tell on who ends up making the cut!

It would really cool to have a boss battle against Sonic to contrast and tie both games together that much more. Hopefully we do end up getting one!

I feel the GUN mech fights are some of the more underrated boss battles from Sonic Adventure 2. I’d love for them to return in some way in future games!

I feel once this game’s finished it will look more graphically impressive and with the Konpaku system mechanic it could allow for a lot of interesting options. I hope there’s a lot of potential to mixup attacks and make combos!

You gotta also look at what the game is "visually adapting". Putting textures into a visual style like an anime where most of them don't have will just put games into uncanny valley territory. Look at Jump force, it visual style did not age well with it's attempt of integrating anime realistic textures . The flat cell shaded look even in games that is not based on anime are usually the "games" that visually age well. Like basically Persona 3 reloaded is pretty similar with how they shaded models in these Bleach games. So I don't see how that is a "bad thing". Anime artstyled games usually is more of how they do the "shading and lighting" for the models rather than textures. You should worry about textures when the game is aiming for the anime realistic Final fantasy look.

@Snzn18 while I’m definitely excited about this new Bleach game, I want it to do well and be a success for the Arena Fighter genre. Fingers crossed we get more trailers that flesh out the battle system and show off other aspects of what the game is like!

It would be a nice surprise to have the G.U.N. commander return with him piloting the Diablon mech, it’d make a great boss fight if the mechanics aren’t too repetitive and is fun to play!

If either Mephiles or Solaris end up appearing as Boss battles it would be a very cool homage along with Kingdom Valley to represent Shadow’s part of Sonic ‘06!

If a Kasumi Yoshizawa mod ever gets made, I’d do a full tutorial for her to see just how she does in battle against fellow Persona characters!

Out of all of these possibilities what I’d love most would be to have Shadow interact with Eggman Nega from Blaze’s Dimension. It could be not only interesting but also give some needed details about just how much that world contrasts from Sonic’s. Maybe there’s even an alternate version of Shadow that exists in Blaze’s universe?! Either way I’m quite looking forward to this game!

Lost World and Forces wouldn't make any sense. Shadow's story takes place during the same time as Sonic and Sonic's events happened from 91 to 2010. It'll be the same for Shadow.

Shadow did on fact play a part in the overall plot of Sonic Forces by being the first main character to battle Infinite single handed. I’d personally love to see a rematch between the two someday!

It would be pretty epic if either the Black Comet or The Last Way from Shadow the Hedgehog make an appearance as a returning stage. Even a combination of both meshed together to make one giant level would be peak of Sonic Team to pull off!

I would be very happy if that turns out to be the case with Bandai Namco saving GT characters as one of the final surprises, time will most definitely tell as we get closer to Sparking Zero’s launch day. Can’t wait for the next trailer to figure out what gets revealed next!

I chose to omit Sonic ‘06 mainly because aside from Mephiles I didn’t see any reason to have the list be longer just for the sake of it. If I make a follow-up video I’ll definitely consider it along with any other games Shadow’s playable in!

Yoooo a boost style Egg Cerberus battle would be awesome. Do some damage running alongside it, then jump on and drive it thru architecture to deal massive damage!

I think if the Egg Cerberus was brought back that would be a very unique way of referencing the original boss battle from Sonic ‘06. It would be an interesting idea so long as the mechanics work properly I could see it being fun!

How do you think a Classic Shadow would look… one of his earlier designs like when he was originally going to be named Terios would be an interesting idea. A Dreamcast skin from Sonic Adventure 2 would ultimately be my favorite if this would be explored by SEGA and Sonic Team!

At the very least a Mephiles cameo would be interesting. I’d prefer to have an actual boss battle and be able to use Shadow’s inhibitor rings to prove why he was and still is the ultimate life form!

You have a strong list for possible bosses we could see return. I’d like forShadow to have a fight against Emerl in the game, hopefully he’ll appear and get some needed justice and add onto Shadow’s backstory even more like how the Dark Beginnings animation recently did!

I know it’s wishful thinking but personally I’d like to see more of Infinite and his character get more development… plus it’d be awesome to fight against him as Shadow!

And yet, the Time Eater pulled a stage that was once chronologically set in the future.

Speaking of DLC, aside from Bardock and Future Gohan already being confirmed… do you think any other movie characters will make it into the base game’s roster?

@@Azure4Shore I personally don’t think we will but If we do it’ll probably only be a few (Maybe just one form for each). I’d say Z Broly LSS, Final Form Cooler and Super Janemba. I also don’t consider Bardock and Future Gohan as movie characters as they are actually part of the main continuity (Unlike the movie characters).

@MCWSam I’m holding out hope that for Broly, Cooler and Janemba they each get their full respective transformation line how they did in Budokai Tenkaichi 3. If only the most powerful forms would be considered then I suppose it’s better than none at all!
