You hit the nail on the head when you described this game of feeling like a Fan Game because that was exactly my impression but couldn't think of the right word. Supposedly this game wasn't developed by Konami and may have been completely outsourced to another company called Cing or a hybrid of some producers from Konami while Cing did programming, art and other stuff but I can't get a hard confirmation on that to be sure. Either way the main issue is that the key people who programmed Alien Wars like Kenji Miyaoka and Hideyuki Suganami along with a few others had left Konami to form Treasure. Now, it's not to say or an excuse that they didn't have other programmers to take over to work on the game but maybe even those people were working on other projects like Shattered Soldier. The same thing happened with Double Dragon 4 back in 2017. They didn't have the key people who worked on Double Dragon 2 & 3 on NES therefore it sucked lol. 😃

FMV was already bad when it first came out. Funny how taito insisted in the genre in the PS2 era, when it was long dead. It seems they were just trying to sell on the cuteness of the girls. The classic RE bit of the game seems interesting though, would be a lot better to make a full game on it...

amazing game this. Don't be put off by the less than silky framerate as the game is stupendous once you get past this and warm up to the weighty controls. Easily one of my most fave racers of all time. VR is also rather good but they are vastly different to play

The game needed a little more speed,and the bosses to have more character! Like when you hit them react more like Konami's games with voices,screams etc if you caught my drift! Its like the bosses were random vilains appeared in the end of each stage just for the references & as random villains! 😅

I love this game and is still one of my all time favortie PS1 games.

Like the off screen style you’re using with the console in front of the tv playing the game. But please use your own voice, the ai kind of ruins it. Unless it sound totally bizarre, you don’t need to be shy. Script is decent too
