This news report is incorrectly dated. It is filmed in 1988 only one year befiore the final refusal of closure in April 1989. The level of passenger useage shown is high - by 1988 the train service had been increased and there were several times the number using the S&C in 1983 when the Yorkshire Televsion documentary was made (also on UA-cam).

I do feel sorry for the people affected at Hemsby, but people have been holiday in there since before World War II and is a very popular holiday destination but they done nothing to protect their own own coastline in 50 years they’ve done zero 100% nothing themselves the local council the county council nothing in this video. They even mention how many millions of pounds worth of holiday makers money piles into Hemsby and they invested zero in their own defences they could’ve done a moderate amount every eight years and developed a nice sea defence across the front section where all the holiday homes were the lifeboat station is and so on, but they never bothered until it was too late and now they’re mad that nobody will help the holiday homes which are falling into the sea are actually on private land the company that owns that land they won’t do anything either to protect their own land. They just happy taking the money and running and not investing in their own longevity by putting any defences in against the sea. Everybody is at fault through generations of people. Nobody did anything until quite recently when they realise oh bugger we’re in trouble too late should this 50 years ago and carried on upgrading it or adding to it?

I don't know why on earth I performed "Boss Talk" on an acoustic piano?, because it falls completely outside of the genre! Actually, an electric-guitar would have been a more suited choice; the piano is simply too 'clean'.
