Back again with this amazing system. You may have seen this system on UA-cam already uploaded by my old account @Natsco411 and @michiganfirealarmsmore4684. Well today me & @michiganfirealarmsmore4684 was able to test the system once again but this time actually pulling the station and resetting it. According to @timreinhardt4594 (the guy who lets us set this system off) the old 270 SPOs or at l...

I'm sure old school fire alarms would like this
I could have thought this video would bring his attention but idk he has a life nowadays and isn't really that active. I'd assume he's still around and still into Vintage Fire Alarm systems/equipment.
Coded to 4444.
that was a standard fire alarm signal code back in the day
sound air leak
This same system can be found in the post office In downtown Idabel Oklahoma
Single Tone High 10Horsepower Siren Test.
W beat
YES my favorite STH-10
Not gonna lie, I wish that they would keep the trouble bell there!
Sirens mean conditions are unsafe to be outside, they are not tornado warnings.
The AC horns are NOT louder than the 2, and it was only on half power. The mic compression likes to give illusion
Happy 2025 🎆🔊
The fact that the ac horns were louder than the model 2
Its just the compression
I think I went nuts when I found three leftover 4050s (also with a weird voltage of 20-24V) at a Penney's in the Youngstown area--the store was constructed in the late 70s.
While I'm all the way up here, blasting a loud speaker with presets downloaded on my phone LOL.
Ay this shit's fire 🔥
I believe my Elementary school had these. They looked very similar to this.
Angrychkn reference
😝
Worked for NATSCO and inspected the (mid-80s version) system in 2002. They keep up with their stuff, that building is still very nice for its age.
WOW! a ex-natsco tech, what I want to work for my job in the clock manufacturing line. That's very neat, by any chance do you remember what the old panel was and where it was located? Just asking out of curiosity.
FWR good
i have the dc 24v version of this panel
Wow! I never knew they made DC versions of this panel! By any chance do you have a video of it? I'm pretty interested in it.

I still have yet to work on my behind the scenes video with one of the videos being while Dan, Danielle, Dylan, Joel, Will & I were at this one back when it used to test on First Saturday a year ago. I’ll tell you what, it does still go off for the NWS test every Wednesday, it’s worth it. When you get a chance to of course.
this is like the fourth video of this place; I knew it had to be some kind of protestant church. A weird thing about my former HS's system is that it had an Edwards 270 in the stairway to the girls locker room and that part of the building was constructed in 1967 as a separate field house before the two schools merged
AS is what they had at my elementary school. Very loud!
What am I hearing run in the background? Masterbox?
The AS is probably the loudest electronic horn/strobe Wheelock ever made. It's just as loud and piercing as a System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance (especially more so in person!)
not to be mean but it's actually the Wheelock NS
The advance is not that loud and if you think I don’t know what I’m saying I do, because I put 2 in my bedroom and it was still quiet
@@exstereamFireAlarmsUA-cam That's what my mom said about Simplex 4040 horns and 4090 6" vibrating bells. (Though, to be fair, they ARE louder than SpectrAlert Advances.)
The school I'm gonna be at next year has MTs. I heard MTs on horn or hi/lo are just as earsplitting as an AS. My current school has truealerts which are also extremely earsplitting.
@@Walmart2569 Yeah, the multi-candela TrueAlert horn/strobes are also very loud, about as loud as System Sensor SpectrAlert Advances and Wheelock ASes on high volume!
It is used for larger vehicles
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba Simplex 9833s in a nutshell
Glad to see your area’s AC systems still in service, they are tuff as shit
that was back when life safety equipment was made to last the life of the building; look at the newer systems, the only last a decade before they need to be upgraded
