Been out of rallying a while now (1976-1984 Beverley and District MC). Wonder if there is an etiquette in operation for 'slower' cars giving way to 'faster' cars? Car 51 was quite quick round the over 90 degree left, powered out, then pulled over to let car 52 past. But he was slower by comparison even though 4WD. Much less committed to the throttle. Also who was driving car 311 white MKI Escort; with Swift Group sponsorship. Wondered if it was Pete Smith; who owns Swift Group?

Standing the in forest on my first rally you hear this car coming from miles away, then you think it can’t be that loud then as the pair come past 100% committed in this incredible car at mind blowing speeds and as it disappears into the forest you’ll never forget how good it was. Thank you Andy and all of the team.
