Although "was" is most commonly heard in speach, "were" is correct. It is the subjunctive verb form that is used after expressions of uncertainty such as "if" or "wish".

Were is the correct verbiage for that sentiment unless you are talking about the past. If it is a present situation, it is were. ❤ Love the cards! They are all really beautiful. I tried to resist this suite but ended up getting it and I'm so glad I did. Regals are my jam for sure.

I read directions as we made the cards and on first one I did wrap the linen thread around b4 gluing down. Ur directions r great!
