    thanks for the "vague clarification", lol....I had been confused by a label on a bottle of pinto grigio that described the wine as "sweet", when I had come to understand? that this type of wine was dry, or semi dry! ....so the answer is, pinot grigio can be sweet, semi dry, or dry 🙃
