Should you add Customization to your Etsy Shop?
Are you still trying to decide if you want to add customization to you r Etsy Store? Does it seem too Confusing even after watching the videos out there?
That's How I felt. I made tons of mistakes and had to spend money fixing them until i figured out a way to customize products using Printify my way!
I don't claim to be an expert but i do learn from my mistakes and I want to help you before you make some of the same ones.

hi Kim, looking forward for more content, i started my etsy shop 3 days ago, i have been posting 1-2 listings per day, i wanted to know if i should sell multiple products (mugs, blankets, phone cases, shirts), or just stick to a single item
When I first started in this one shop (I have a few others)!I wanted to focus on tshirts and sweatshirts but then started seeing EVERYTHING that was trending and selling and I kind of went nuts putting my designs on everything out there. That didn’t go so well for me. I’ve heard what works best is to start out with your main products then as a design sells, add that design to a mug or a tote or maybe both. But for me, going all Willy nilly in the beginning only clogged my shop and my brain. Right now I’m deactivating a lot of those. I’m not advising this specificity, but it’s what DIDNT work for me. I’m going for simpler and a cleaner look for now. I hope that helped. If you want a video about this more in depth or on something else, please let me know! Thank you!!!

Me too, I am cleaning one of my shop too, bit not the digital shop, I think they go there and buy things without checking the shop, I can see it through the visits and visitors. In the POD I can see they look more the listings, but not in the digital. Thanks for you time
Nice video just my 2 cents here. What I did in my shop was take a new design list it and if I get a sale I then scale it. So makes a T-shirt then a mug then a blanket etc of that one design. Then go to the next design and do the same thing. Over and over. It takes a bit to do this but it has worked for me. I have had people buy multiple items of that same design. Coffee mug T-shirt blanket. Hope this helps someone.
Oh I love this tip! I was just throwing a bunch of different products in my shop for the past year just because that product was a best seller. I never looked at the idea of combining a best selling design with a best selling product. I have some major work to do in my shop! Great tip!

This might be a weird question but im new to etsy and still learn the ins and outs. When you say you want to make $10 profit, is that after etsy fees, transaction fees and everything is deducted? I use something called erank to determine my profits because the "estimated profit" that printful gives me seems off.
You are right and quite frankly but I am starting to think that the customer that goes to your shop goes cause she clicked on a search, only for a product, not the shop. Same we do in amazon, we search for something not for the whole shop...what do you rhink?

Have you considered checklists for the listings? That was my issue as well (along with taking decent pictures) until I made a comprehensive checklist. It has helped me so much. Go you!
