now that is a heck of a light up
Have you had a chance to look at my 200 yet. No hurry, you gonna be at Central KY bushcraft gathering?
@michaelbrunner6654 Not yet, but I will try my best to get it done before Dave's meet-up. I'm really looking forward to doing the 237, but I just haven't found the time. Now that the holidays are over, it's slow at work, and I'm getting more time in the shop, and I will get to them before long. God bless.
Awesome work Robert , l love the character of the lanterns . I believe they are all meant to be used and enjoyed .
That are lovely, awesome Rob
Just like us rough on the outside, and we still work well.god bless!
Looks like the bar at closing time..not the prettiest thing but it will work…😊
Love the lantern case! And the coffee pot. I wouldn't put a ribbon on it, though. I'd totally make some coffee! Really nice stuff.

@chevy6969200 Thanks, Tom. I really appreciate it.
Pretty good idea 👍
Years ago, there was a T.V show where a fella could make a bomb with duct tape and a dog turd! “Macgyver” I believe was his name. I think you could have your own T.V show. Nice job Robert! Hope you have a great weekend.
Now ya can make one for my my stove!😉👍🏻 But I want mine to look real purdy!😎😏🤣😍
NICE ONE THXS FOR THE VIDEOS
@michaelhoffman7970 Thanks for watching, and God bless

🔥
that thing has a lot of moving parts in it. glad you know what you are doing
I’m rebuilding mine just like this one this week. I’m going to leave her natural and not paint anything. I’m learning. 😀👍✝️
@creek_camper Thanks for watching, and God bless.
I was just gifted two of the "gerry stoves" and one canister. I am looking at finding an adapter since i found out fuel is no longer available.
@Christopher040601 The adapter is available as he makes them on eBay. You just have to keep watching for them because they go really fast when he lists them. Thanks for watching, and God bless.
That came out really nice. I haven't been taking my collection apart. I save the parts lanterns off to the side and display the clean ones. It is the perfect crime...they look great and they don't make me work. tHanks for the video!
@Dancing_Alone_wRentals Thanks for watching, and God bless.
Beautiful lantern Sir. 😀👍✝️
@creek_camper Thank you, sir. God bless.
Hi Rob. My 1940 500 doesn't like to have a pot put on it until it's all warmed up and going.. I enjoy learning from your experiences....
@michaelcullinsmcrcullinsgm9146 All of these stoves and lanterns are the same but completely different. They may be the same brand and model number manufactured on the same day at the same factory but completely different. They all tend to have their own character over the years. Is it the way they have been used over the years? The fuel they get used to? I don't know. They are all just different. My 500 runs great on first fire with or without a pot. I've seen others that need the pot to hold the heat before it will burn properly. I have some lanterns that you have to pump full pressure before you can get them to fire. I have others that will not push nothing but air if you give them more than 5 or 6 pumps. But with the 5 pumps, they will fire right up, and then you can pump full pressure. Thanks for watching, and God bless.
Sweet
@mdenny6044 Thanks for watching, and God bless
That’s sweet brother!
@Dominic.Minischetti Thanks, my friend. God bless.
got it looking good. need to send you that 502 i got to have you clean up for me.
Great work as always
@RichStover-l5r Thank you, and God bless.
I rebuild those style generators with brass, or steel wool. Lot easier than messing with that glass rope. Works great with gas or kero. 👍
@serpent6710 I just use what I have on hand, and it works for me. I don't have the brass mesh, and I'm not a big fan of the steel wool. I have used the brass mesh in the past, and it works really well. Thanks for watching, and God bless.
Beautiful lantern Robert ! Interesting design too , I will go back to look for the previous ash flash video .God bless have a good week
@scotthayward996 Thank you, sir. God bless you.
I’m currently rebuilding my first 200 now. Had to order a new generator. Needle was broken on it. It was in pretty bad shape I’m excited to see it finished. This video helps me out a lot Thank you sir. 😀👍✝️
Awesome 😀👍✝️
Honest and genuine question. I forgot where I saw this . But I think someone had one of those white gas or kerosene lanterns but replaced the mantles with a fine fine steel mesh and without a globe I believe it stopped producing light but it turned it into a small space heater. Just think that idea is neat and curious if it’s a good or dumb idea Wouldn’t blame you if you made it or made a video making one God bless Happy new year
@otherwill2202 I don't recall seeing it, but it does make sense. The older heater has a round wire screen that produces the heat. I might have to give this a try someday. Thanks, and God bless.
At first glance, I thought it was Tom Servo!
@Pygar2 Thanks for watching, and God bless.
Looks like that ceramic burner is from a Bernzomatic dual beam lantern that has been swapped for the original.
@jerryberryhill3619 I guess that's possible. I'm no expert on these. I just enjoy bringing them back to life. I have seen other Coleman lanterns online with the ceramic cap, but I honestly have no clue if they were Coleman or not. God bless.
Awesome work
@@RichStover-l5r Thanks and God bless.
@ I love watching you I’ve learned a lot from you thanks
@RichStover-l5r Thank you, sir. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Nice job! It looks great! I have a 200a that the wife picked up a few years ago with the yellow stripe logo. Ill have to do a closer inspection on it and see if it's unique like yours. I hope you have a great New Year. I put your October Meet-up in my calendar for next year. So God willing andvthe Creek don't rise, Ill be able to attend! 👍🏻😎🔥🧀
@CheezeheadChris The yellow band label was found on the early 50s models if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully, we will see you this fall. God bless
Great job as always, Merry christmas and happy new year ! Take care 🙂
@matthewmahalic3562 Same to you, my friend. God bless.
can it come back to life, watch and find out. another great one. need to take apart that 502 stove i got to get it to burn better
@HarshmanHills Thanks, James. If you need any pointers with the 502, just message me. God bless.
Sweet
@glennking8206 Thanks for watching, and God bless.
Awesome job Robert! Beautiful lantern , must be like a special edition with the nickel and ceramic burner . Not the normal 200 for sure . I’m sure there is others that know more about it then me . God bless
@scotthayward996 Not sure if it is a special edition but a very early model of the 200a. I'm not sure which was first? The black band or the galvanized collar 🤔 After these two, they cut costs a little and went to aluminum. Thanks for watching, and God bless.
First
