Yes, you are correct, you need a different receiver for each geographic area, and an antenna capable of worldwide satellite reception, such as the KVH HD11. What is the size of your vessel? We are located in Fort Lauderdale Fl, USA

This is true, but most boats (and if you're a boat owner you'd know this pretty well) have all sorts of problems, even when they come brand new and for millions. The Azimut line has also taken a heavy hit from that one New Zealander fellow who made that video and posted in on UA-cam about his Azimut 47 Flybridge and he showed all the problems it had and they were absolutely ridiculous, from quality control to major design flaws but a lot of it actually unfairly reflected bad on Azimut because much of it was how the warranty repairs were handled by MarineMax. For example, when one of the engines had an oil leak, MarineMax took out the WRONG engine and fixed that!!! I mean, WTF, right?! Then the cracking of some of the fiberglass TBH that's very common with almost ever single maker but some things like the drain hoses that were pitched upwards were pretty stupid bad and some of the other stuff he mentioned was really trivial and incidentally very common, unfortunately, with such an expensive recreational item like yachts. Another one he pointed out was a few pieces of the teak steps cracking I mean hey, guess what, it's WOOD!!! lol, it cracks and cracks quite often and the emphasis was made on the repair which was by MarineMax when they fixed the teak step but when they went to fix the gelcoat riser next to the step after scuffing it up themselves trying to fix the teak, they painted the gelcoat over the scuff mark but didn't cover the teak and so the overspray got on the teak!!!! That's a complete idiotic move and is a reflection on MarineMax repairing and not Azimut. So I feel it's a bit unfair but there is also some truth to it. Cheers.

Any GOOD information will help those considering buying a yacht! I was going by advice & complaints from LOCAL Azimut owners. First hand. ....Question; Did MarineMax or insurance pay for the damage THEY caused?

You started right, then you went all wrong. Even though Marinemax was the dealer, those repairs were done by third party vendors. Marinemax DOES NOT have engine techs. they orchestrated the repairs. So research before speaking again!
