I bought a pair of Dririder Covert summer gloves following your review of them (I do like these reviews!), and am very happy with them. I publish a motorcycle blog type thing and following a review I wrote on them, a couple of my readers bought them too. Now it looks like I'll be checking out these winter gloves. :-)

I'm keen to try a pair on. I wonder what they're like for extended wearing (all day rides) and walking around in.

I hope DriRider have done something about their zips. 2 pairs of DriRider boots and a winter jacket I've purchased from AMX in Adelaide have all had the zipper fail within 6 months.

Are they touch-screen compatible? If I can't use my phone whilst wearing gloves then they are of no use to me.

How long do you charge it for?

Will this work on the HJC v10 helmet

I bought this helmet and the wind noise is huge! It's not fun. Never needed ear plugs with my hjcf70. I don't know how to fix it. This helmet is over twice the price of my old one, it shouldn't be that noisey. I wish I'd looked up noise issues before buying it.

Again, over and over no real true mention of CE ratings, as in the actual tested specs from 1-2 in three key areas, the spec number and revision date. We have to buy the boot and look inside at the pictoglyph to find out? Why not tell us instead. I know you don't have to comply wth CE in the USA, but without proper reference why mention it? Oh, it is important to consumers! If you mention it for sales, then propery make it transparent to the product's performance.

I'm not sure the ventilation is as good as suggested but overall I am very happy with this helmet. One comment that I have seen elsewhere is that it's very snug on my cheek bones.

Might be helpful for potential buyers to know that while the shoulder plates are indeed replaceable. They are not available from Dainese or any third party in the black/black colour you see on the racing 4.

Why does the American version not have the Micro Buckle & no ECE rating, just DOT only? Other than that it is a totally awesome helmet.

I got this jacket, All round... it's not a terrible jacket... The shoulder and elbow protection is CE1 but the shoulders in particular are an articulated foam design with serious weak points which I would not trust.. Highly recommend to replace the inserts if you buy this jacket. The back protector slot comes with a thin bit of non protective foam and will need to be replaced if you want any back protection, also, something worth of note, is that the back protection slot, is rather small for the size of the jacket, it was difficult to find a CE2 protector that fit as intended. As stated on MotoCap, the water resistance is rated at about 1/10, making it on the very low end of resisting water, and it indeed will need that little "Water proof" pocket if you want something to stay dry in heavy drenching. I'm not sure how I feel about the inner removable warmth liner, either the weather is hot and you don't want it, and then chances are it's likely too cold and you need a proper warmth layer like a thick jumper anyway, making the somewhat awkward to attach and take off liner, something I likely won't ever use. All up though, it's Abrasion resistance is pretty good for a textile, it's stitched together very well. It's a good jacket If you're planning to get your own protective inserts, and don't intent to rely on it for drenching rain, it ain't too bad :)
