Gathering Basket Homestead
Приєднався 10 гру 2021
Two homesteaders in Maine living in an old cabin, with an eighteenth century theme. We do gardening in the summer, and sew, spin, weave, and cook during winter months.
We are ‘mostly’ off grid, using a wood stove for heating and cooking, a hand well pump, and four small solar panels for the little electricity we use. In other words, we live very minimally.

I love the Commonground Fair & I've missed it since moving to the West coast. My very first time going was in 1981 when it was in Windsor. I worked at the fair for many years in food booths as well. It's grown so much since those memorable nostalgic days. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to see how it looks today and to reminisce about the olde times!
