@@MrAuhue the other side should be the same thing. The 10th gen Honda Civic CVT doesn’t have an intermediate shaft. Both sides connect directly to the transmission. So it should be the same process.

@@hix9306 I opted for an aftermarket axle as a temporary replacement but later switched back to the OEM axle. My other axle was only two weeks old, but the CV boot somehow tore. As a result, I created another video demonstrating how to repair the CV boot and decided to reuse my OEM CV axle instead.

@ did you end up having to get a wheel alignment after the axel change and lowering the car ?

@@hix9306 I haven’t gotten one yet :0 My steering wheel is a bit misaligned and pulls slightly to the left, but I don't think I need one since it doesn’t effective my driving.

@ ok yea same happen to me. I lowered it and it seemed fine but when I got the axel replaced it started to pull some and I just put on new wheels . Guess I’ll get an alignment

@@hix9306 sounds about right. The first temporary axle I replaced seemed fine. After I did oil an change and tire rotation it started to pull. So I’d assume it’s just the tires.

Absolutely! Make sure to thread the axle nut to avoid damaging the axle, such as causing it to mushroom.

Another question. Did u use a 3 inch tip or less ? I wanna make sure it fits if I buy a diffuser but I might skip out on the diffuser. I don’t like the styles they got for this car

It’s weird right? Usually you start from the furthest away from the brake reservoir, but Honda changed it up.

@@FC2Dani Do you do all your own basic maintenence? I've done every fluid except the blue coolant so far. Anything that might be good to know before i start? 2019 Honda Civic EX btw

@@Wheredatruth_at23 I do indeed do all the basic maintenance myself. I accidentally deleted my (how to change spark plugs) video during editing. So sad :( I actually haven’t done my coolant yet. But it’s easy. 1.) there’s a big plastic wing nut on the bottom of the radiator, open that to drain it all. 2.) using a special coolant adapter funnel thing fill it up with DISTILLED WATER 3.) Run the car/Drive it for some short time before it overheats 4.) Drain it 5.) fill it up with OEM Coolant 6.) may need to pump (squeeze the coolant tube) to “prime” coolant or remove air bubbles. I think that’s it from what I recall. Using distilled water so it doesn’t rust and doesn’t have any chemicals in it like chlorine or something.

$200 there were other cheap shops offering around $100 but I needed it done Asap so it's whatever :d

All depends on the shop. Mine charged me $200. It's a lot compared to others ($100) but I had to get it done.

The drone is eha. Compared to other cars It's not nearly as loud.

I have a hairline vertical crack from the hub up. Also making some grinding/squealing noises when it’s hot. Not sure what the problem is, but I’m going to inspect it very soon

@@brainbuster4u744 I think it’s just cheap quality Chinese steel. For $200 for all 4 is kinda wild. Good quality rotor for one is around $100

@@theultimatekid1209 I had to destroy my wing to take it off 😭. The 3m I put on wouldn’t budge, I also bent the trunk lip a little bit 💀

@@theultimatekid1209 I just told them to align the exhaust tip in the center of the right diffuser cutout. From there the muffler shop did their magic.

They’re almost identical mechanically, k&n makes a intake for the 11th gen 2.0 L I just ordered one!

Same concept since it’s the same 2.0L however it won’t really fit cause the design of the 10th and 11th is different.

Mines coming on Thursday, will update once I install!

So for so good. The Braking power is slightly more aggressive due to the “slots” grabbing more brake pad. FYI the drill and slots rotors will wear out your brake pads more than the oem (smooth) rotors.
