Deffently a Astin Martin that drive pass...chaching neighbourhood. Lawns look green-very natural gardens with some of the well established houses/shacks. My wife and I came over to Perth in April from the UK, we stayed in Belmont which we liked very much , but one thing we noticed about Perth is all the bloody shopping trolleys everywhere 😅.

Very surprising on the suburb list-post covid hitting many including the very loaded house buyer's. Great Video & very informative.👍 good old cotts beach stroll & yep plenty of good spots 4some grub. The Sculptures by the Sea is wonderful at cotts.

Thank you. Really wouldn't take up much effort to make the garden areas a little more appealing. Low rainfall I suspect, so I would consider peppercorn trees for the garden for a green leafy look, nice scent as well. I don't live in WA, so I'm not aware of council considerations for the recommended tree. Regardless good to see what is happening over there.

Those duplex have been on the market for months, they pretty much need to be demolished, they aren't really inhabitable. You were so close to some decent streets, if you went the other way at Creyk Park you would run into some decent steets up the back toward the highway, and also in Clifton hills on the other side of Albany Hwy is pretty nice. I've lived in Kelmscott for years, just near Creyk Park. I can't really compare it to other suburbs as I haven't lived in any suburbs close to the city, it is affordable, hence why I live here. I would avoid Camillo, but it also has some decent streets, there is a fair bit of state housing around the place which spoils things, and I believe the government has plans to build more. All the vacant land you would of seen coming into the suburb near the Tonkin Hwy on ramp is government owned and marked for development and there will be 10% state housing in that development. The apartments near McDonalds are also to be avoided, lots of state housing in there. Also heaps of rentals in Kelmscott/Armadale that are affordable and don't get taken care of. Kelmscott, there is plenty of shopping near by, but not much in the way of restaurants or night life. I don't really like living here and would love to move to Thornlie or Huntingdale, but with the way the market is going I'm just happy to have a roof over my head that I can easily afford and I'm not mortgaged up so much I can't afford toilet paper. Thanks for actually having a look around and not just saying it was a terrible place full of terrible people like other Vloggers have done. It would be great if more families moved into the suburb and took a bit of pride in their homes.

It’s a shame that the gardens aren’t maintained. I try not to judge people without knowing their circumstances but surely they can pull a few weeds or at least water the lawns on their watering days.

Southern River is one of Perth’s greatest suburbs. We lived there from 2007 to 2011 in the Boardwalk estate, which is the nicer area. Kids went to Bletchley Park PS, was a nice school. Only reason we moved on to Oakford was for more land as we wanted pet sheep and alpacas. The suburb sure has grown since then.

Hidden spot my neighbour suburb.parks Deffently take up more of the City of Gosnells $-to keep the high end Home owners happy. 233 bus goes pass the newer shopping centre-from Gosnells Bus/Train station.wow on the dog boxes house & shabby builders. Hope you two didn't get the City of Gosnells sunburn-classic 37temp & minimal tree's 2 shelter under.Eye opener on the land prices.gosh $500+ for a dog box-no thank you.
