But why can’t you always dye your hair crazy colours? I’m 33 and have a death hawk, and half of my hair pink and the other half orange. Always be you don’t every let go of what makes you YOU. If others don’t like it that’s their problem. I also work in a hospital and the patients love seeing my hair 😂

YOU ARE MY IDOL!!!! <3 I have PTSD & CRIPPLING fear of having my hair CUT, LET ALONE shaved because of a traumatic experience that I had to get my head FULLY shaved for, but now I am not at all happy with my hair & because of my past, I have a scar, which is ALSO irritated by my hair. I have been searching non-stop about different hair styles & I keep coming back to the SHAVED look, but I am not sure if i should go half shaved. death hawk around my scar OR jus screw it & fully shave it despite my fears & tears

When you were crying I wanted to hug you. I know it sounds so cliche, but please know, you are beautiful. I love your personality, I ADORE your new style. And I just want you to know that it takes courage to be able to cry. It takes courage to be genuinely scared, even with just a haircut. You had the courage to show your fear, and the courage to shave your hair anyway. Please know that you don't have to love yourself right away, but start with accepting that you don't love everything about yourself, accepting that you cry and get nervous a lot. That made me stronger, and love myself more.

i wanna do this but im worried because my hair isn’t super thick and i dont want my hair to look too thin :/ any tips ?
i would do a smaller section, some people have it pretty high like i did because my hair is thicker, if your hair is thinner then i’d cut less off, and even if it does look thin it doesn’t necessarily look bad ya know? hope this helped :)
