James easily cleared 14'6" in practice yesterday. He set a new PR (personal record) of 15'1" in Longview at the area finals a few weeks back and he hopes to break that record in Jacksonville.

James clears 15'0" at District Meet

Frisco Heritage Freshman Justin Manders finishes fourth in the mile at the 4A district meet in Little Elm, TX, on April 10, 2014, with a time of 5:10. The winning time was 5:03 and there were no PR's due to a persistent 25 mph wind.

Freshman James Manders hit a new PR on April 9, 2014, by clearing 14'0" at the varsity district meet in Little Elm, Texas. He was jumping on a 14' 175 pole. This height should move his Freshman ranking to tied for first in the state of Texas and tied for second in the United States.
