I think it is. It also probably depends on what headphones you have. If they already have surround sound then I wouldn't worry about getting them but for just normal ones they sound SOOO much better imo. Hope this helps!

I think so. I really like being able to switch up different audio styles and between inputs, even tho its only two inputs unless you get a splitter lol.
