Hi there!
This channel was started as a way for me to keep a video diary of trips taken as well as sharing them with the public! Since the start of this channel, things have evolved in terms of videos, going from raw footage straight from the camera recording straight to UA-cam, full length videos of over 2 hours long, to shorter videos with relaxing music in the background.
The videos are split into seasons, so you can see the change in videos as time goes on. The videos you will see are mainly passenger view ride alongs, although there are a few spotting videos here and there. I usually tend to film in the East Midlands, Northeast, and Southwest, but of course there are other regions covered!
As of 2024, the South and West Country is where our focus will be mainly!

My preferred diversion when travelling home to Cornwall, if I really had to be diverted is to go get to Chippenham, then down to Westbury via Melsham, and then Castle Cary to Yeovil via Pen Mill and the Junction Station and onto Exeter St David's and reverse down to Plymouth and Home. Admittedly a much longer journey but I get to travel over rails, I've hardly ben over in my life. BTW not the longest diversion I ever had heading to the South West, Try as it happened to me one night, Didcot, Oxford, Hereford, Newport, Severn Tunnel to Bristol TM. I woke up at Worcester wondering if I'd got the wrong train!

I do like the Great Western Railway Class 387s and they are very nice trains. Not really keen on the seats though as they aren’t as comfortable.

Avanti should be ashamed for giving economy seats zero cushioning for long routes unless you pay for premium. Im not asking for them to be bigger, just make the padding thicker because it is painful for me. Im tired of rail companies blaming it on refulations when the guy in charge responded by saying there's no regulations against seat cushions.
When did they start running to wales?
They have been for sometime now. Roughly around the time cracks were identified in the 80X fleet. Possibly earlier!
