thought i had my foot fully off the throttle, trying to downshift (computer doesn't downshift when throttle engaged). screwed up the shifting, had to pull off.. threw in neutral - not restarting. turned off power/ repowered/restarted.. all was good. dumb mistake on my part - lesson learned.

i think my axle starting coming loose and spit some grease inside my rims/brakes. (saw the grease after I pitted/checked it out). which may have caused my brakes to not bite like they usually do. just safely got off track/line cars behind me.

Hearing a click and/or something catching when heading to false grid. Just a quick video of us figuring it out what it was. Chain was wore down and some links almost broke. Glad we caught it.

BMW catching up in the first half of Road America, thinking he was trying to come get me and probably watched my brake lights/marker. He overshot 6. no wall, but really utilized that run off space. Back half of RA is where this car shines.

Perspective is very similar to rear view mirror vs rear camera - very deceiving! You were pretty close to him and obviously don't want to risk contact! Nice video, try Racerender for some overlays

wing stiffeners.. custom made. Seller will have a listing shortly. I got the prototype to test out. makes the wing more solid (imo) probably hinders aero, but its ok with me.

Ah! You had a Lotus! I should have known!!! 😂 I currently track an S2 Exige. I don’t want you to have to spend a lot of your time, but I’m really would love to hear your thoughts & details about the differences between the two.
i summer daily my lotus. as you know the lotus is expensive and time consuming to fix (especially if you track / daily it) i bought the rush/dedicated track car, for if something happens to it - its easier/faster to fix and im not out track days/summer time as if it was my lotus. driving experience; rush is much more fun, it was my natural progression after driving my elise. i find i drive the rush harder, its more of a momentum car. braking is not the same (my lotus stops on a dime, rush not so much). rush has a huge fun factor when driving
Thank you I really appreciate the reply and prospective from another Lotus driver. Yes nowadays tracking Lotus can mean a lot of downtime if you have problems. Wow even more enjoyable? Because of the other cars I’ve driven unless it’s a GT3RS the Lotus to me has been the most fun so I might rent time in a Rush to see how it is and might put it in my shopping list. Thanks again!
