Welcome to today's leather crafting adventure! In this video, we'll be diving into the creation of a stylish and practical leather zip wallet. This handy wallet features 4 pockets for your bank cards, 2 roomy cash pockets, and a secure zip compartment for your loose change.

For this project, I chose the wonderful Crazy Horse leather in a rich Chocolate color. Now, usually, I avoid Crazy Horse leather due to its softer nature. Traditional edge polishing techniques, typically effective for vegetable-tanned leather, pose a challenge with chrome leather. However, I decided to push the boundaries and experiment with applying the same methods used for veg tan leather.

► PATTERN SPECIFICATIONS:

◦ Skill Level: Suitable for beginners.
◦ Dimensions: 13 x 10.5 cm (5,11 x 4,13 inches)
◦ Recommended zip size: 4 mm
◦ Recommended Leather Thickness: 1.2 - 1.4 mm(3-3.5 oz)
◦ Amount of leather you're going to need: about 6 dm² (0.64 ft2)
◦ Stitching Hole Spacing: 5 mm
◦ Space from stitch holes to the edge: 4 mm

Capacity: 2 card pockets on each side, each can hold 2-3 cards, additional big pockets on each side for folded cash/receipts, etc., middle zip pocket for coins and/or folded cash.
