Take a non conductive device and press against the board and find the short ..then flow the solder around the source ..beat of luck..do about 10 a month like this

This is simple switching circuit short ...the key circuit is shorting to ground ..do to cold solder joint

Winking out like that appears to be low power supply voltage. Need 13.8 volts. Test radio on channel 19, 1000 Hertz test tone input according to the SAMs books.

Do they all have a switch to turn the amp on and off? The button you are turning it on and off with is the nb/anl button.

That is an Average reading wattmeter so it can't read PEP Power. Also whistling into a microphone is useless. If it swung to 5000 watts it would be useless if it only did that when you whistle since nobody I know communicates by whistling. Only voice audio peaks are useful.
