Hey Lebel, where are you from?
Well the fuse box info was absolutly lacking in information
Helped a lot! Thanks! Idk who’s really been struggling with these because they’re pretty darn easy. Luckily enough I had a vise and correct tools so everything was as cake
This is the way! Most other videos suggest removing the heater core lines which is much more cumbersome. What this video does not show is where on the engine block these lines need to be disconnected, but they are easy to trace down and are attached with typical Volkswagen style hose clamps. I performed this service on my 2012 Tiguan which had no heat on the passenger side at all and only passably warm on the driver side. Appears to have solved the issue entirely, hot air blowing out of all vents! I did not use any CLR or radiator cleaner, but as recommended in a video by @NaptownTuner I modulated the pressure in the hose by kinking it for sudden changes in pressure.
I came to see some.real.agony, but you caved! Penetrating oil at the top of the shaft and a heavy pounding bar. Alternate hitting on the blade bar and the pan will usually fall down. The price of the seal is small compared to the sweat price.
I think so he was able to show it at the beginning
Did it kill it?
Yup, still no sign of them a year later.
Thanks for the video. I wonder why they used two different types of clamps??
Pipe wrenches and hammering threads.
Similar project at my house - was there any issues when you grew the grass with the roots sticking out of ground after running Harley rake?
@@dcz8989 I made sure I got all of the roots, the grass was growing strong until the drought we had this summer.
I'm so pissed tossed driver sode oem axel and put cardone aftermarket
Thanks for doing this vid. But, I didn't see mention of replacing the inner side axle-retention C clip, which in my case was damaged. That piece appears to be pure unobtainium. Or can you suggest a source? Thanks again for your time and effort.
Nice job Looks good as new!
Thanks for taking the time to share this. Its helpful
Nice work. You made it look easy. Do you know what part number you used for the rebuild kit?
sorry you only bought yourself 1 year.. heater core needs to be replaced!!
I was able to rig one of those cheap Harbor Freight hand pumps to the hoses so I could agitate the CLR back and forth thru the core occasionally while it sat. Switch the ports and agitate from both directions. Im letting it sit overnight.Fit tight on my hoses but yours look larger. Thanks for the video !
Where are located at.?. 😇
CLR ( Calcium , Lime , Rust ) Remover works well heated up and recirculated through the heater core . A 5 gallon pail and an electric pump is needed !
For what it’s worth, Honda has a tsb for cleaning out a clogged heater core, and they recommend using clr for flushing.
Most annoying repetitive music I've ever heard.
You're awesome, man! Love these videos.
Glad you enjoyed!
Oil psi looks quite low.
Never trust those dummy oil pressure gauges.
@@cliffordlebel2977 I enjoyed the simple lunch y’all had roadside. It’s great to see people still living the god life.
Idle relearn. Same thing happened to me I thought I needed an alternator.
Any leaks after install?
It was flawless over the 3 years and 30k I had the car.
@@cliffordlebel2977 Thanks!
Please post more of these. I love to watch gravel driveway installations/repairs. Nice video!
To maintain inner bearing clocking, use witness marks between shaft and tripod and between plunger and shaft. Timmy the Toolman video on this shows how. Also you can pull apart the outer joint and completely degrease… very few videos on how to do this.
Do they allow Subaru wagons?
No but there is a tennis court area where you can drive golf carts.
Cool keep up the work
Good job little man.
I found using a Dremel for cutting bands was easy.
Just got my CV Boots these are Toyota boots my question is the inside boot is rubber like, but the outside boot feels like more plastic like, is that right?
Love the gravel being spread!
Thanks for watching!

Could you post a video of what your fuse panel looks like now?
odd way of mowing..why not go end to end rather than back and forth and in circles
Corn head grease/00 grease will fix your problem....
1400$? For such a little problem? Man you’re a lucky one
Good video. I had one that leaked terribly put John deere corn head grease been in there 6 year's never leaked a drop run it in finish mower and tiller had finished mower bout 12 year's. Good luck. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
Old time trick is to fill with grease from grease gun will hold for a long time just fill it up
That was my last resort if this didn’t fix it, so far so good though!
a redneck way to fix the oil leak is to put a couple ounces of brake fluid in the gearbox this will cause the rubber oil seal to soften and swell a little what do you have to lose go ahead and try it
Had the exact same problem and your fix worked, now my wife has heating again 😊😊
That’s great to hear!
That crusher run looks extremely wet...why didn't you put gravel down first with crusher run on top?
It was middle of the rainy season so I had no other option.
abc is a base homie
Got an follow up on that seal? Mine is a 2005, worried mine will have that problem.
If it’s not leaking by now you’re probably good. I ended up replacing mine.
Where did you find what each fuse did
I had access to the fuse diagram luckily.
@@cliffordlebel2977 could you post a vid of the diagram?
Why didn't you have the dump trucks tailgate it in for you?
That was my first thought!!!
Very cheap price indeed, good find. Definitely does not look like a fresh water ski though. Were you able to fix the leak?
It was indeed a freshwater ski (it is a 2006 after all) and yes I did end up fixing the leak. It was leaking in around the prop shaft around the adhesive.
"promosm" 😃
You already know!
thank you very much
As wet as that is a load of no. 3 crushed stones would of been a better start then crusher run. Crusher run doesn't let water drain good job though
I definitely under estimated how wet it was for sure. I was desperate to increase my turn around area for the delivery drivers. Ideally this would have been done in the summer but I just couldn’t wait any longer.
I am having some trouble locating these tubes. Anyone know how to get to this first step from opening the hood of the car? 😬🤷🏻♀️
I noticed my heater barely getting warm AFTER I added Bar's Stop Leak to the overflow reservoir a few months back because I have a slow water pump leak. (I didn't have $2500 for a water pump replacement for my 2013 VW CC!) The water pump seems to be a very slow leak now, but not sure if Bar's clogged the heater core...🤬 I wonder if radiator flush stuff will unclog the heater core...? 🤔
The bars leak will plug the heater core. You can try fluh it out, but you may have to replace the heater core now.
@@BaggerJay I was able to drain the radiator and back flush the heater core. Now my heater is back and the water pump does NOT leak! 😁
