I did not show this in the video, but simply purchasing a few multi tools and attachments will avoid having to repeat the entire process from scratch if you happen to die. If you change your respawn point, just remember to take the extras with you. Also, if you do any looting at all in this game, you will end up with plenty of multi tools / attachments.

Yes, a recent patch changed how this works and I have to relearn it all again! I believe you can still pick it up and store in a backpack. Not sure if it lets you automatically deliver it in your new hangar space or not, I will need to test it out. I made my first video on this topic 12 patches ago. I then made an updated video 6 patches ago, so I guess I am due to make my third video on this soon!

Hi! Unfortunately we don’t have an exact start time, but give it a shot at 12PM Pacific as that’s usually when they start/end events. Also, they tend to switch up how the free fly can be activated. If it’s different than what I have posted, I will update the instructions. What’s listed there is how it worked during the last free fly event.

@@MobyTheWhite Sorry but there is no "Play for Free Until July 17"-Section or a "Access Free Fly" button on this site. But if you click the "Play Now" Button it now takes you to a page with a "Fly for Free"-Button that does nothing but take you to another site with useless informations. Don't they want new players? Seems like they are trying everything to keep people from playing.

Unfortunately they do not always give us an exact start time - if it’s not live yet, which it does not seem to be, I’d give it another try at 12PM Pacific (that’s usually when they seem to turn things on and off).

If you die, you lose the items on you unless you loot your corpse (which isn’t always possible). So, I like to buy extras of everything. It’s possible things will be missing from inventory due to bugs, but I don’t see that happen too often… more likely a bug kills you and you lose your gear ;)

I had the mining and med attachments, but I couldn't figure out how people were doing the tractor beam stuff. lol Keep up the great work!

Bugs aside, you should have your purchased items when you log out/in. However they might do a server wipe and then you go back to your basic starting gear … as nature intended.

Your account will allow you to access all future free fly events, but yes - this free to play event ends on the 20th.

@@david._.2293 Good question, I am not sure. I imagine your progress would carry over, as long as there is no server wipe but I believe they do intend to wipe the server in the next patch so progress made now would be gone for the next free fly.

It can only be used outside of armistice zones. Once equipped, right-click to aim, left click to shoot at the target, and use mouse wheel to pull the item closer or push it farther away. When in EVA, you can also shoot at things to pull yourself to them… max range is roughly 100m. Equipping the item is different now than when I made this… I do need a new vid!
