This is a cover of The Beach Boys song "That's Not Me" done in a Kirby's Dreamland 3 videogame soundfont style. I randomly found this online a while back and really liked it. Thought I'd share in hopes that others like it too. So if the original creator of this track doesn't want it online, please let me know and I will remove it. Thank you!

I remember when you went in you used to pay and get a book of tickets, they were marked ABCD and E the E tickets were for the good rides and I think they only gave us four of those
Uh Oh
Marvelous! Thank you.
Just come across this. Ive loved Robbie forever. Could look at him and listen to him all day ❤ thank you for this❤❤xx
0:59 1976 - "You've seen the lovers' moon Looks good in the month of June."
Billy : the summer of '74, was the year you & The Boys toured with CSNY on their reunion tour. Indeed, The Boys played just prior to CSNY . I so remember that, because when they came to DEnver, at old Mile-High Stadium in front of 53,000, The Boys just blew the roof off the place ! They opened with " Wouldn't It Be Nice ? " , Al on lead, & just did one great song, after another ! All of Mile-High Stadium was rocking ! I went by myself, found some friends on the lawn, & stayed there. -------then, when CSNY finally came out , a clearly wasted Neil Young, staggering around the stage-----& a surly Stephen Stlls announced :[ to the effect of ] " anyone here for our old shit can just leave now ! " ------such an insult -----------people just began leaving in droves ! Well ! I decided to stick it out just to see. When finally, they did " Carry On ", Young didn't sing at all, & clearly, only Nash & Stills were sober, so it was just terrible. So, that's when I called it quits. By then, maybe a thousand people were still there ? Maybe ??? ---------------The " BeachAgo " Tour was '75, & for some odd reason, it was in Ft Collins at CSU Rams Stadium. It was a brutally hot day, & I recall both DW & Mike played with shirts off. Honestly------musically----it was for me anyway, disappointing, with Peter cEtera doing the lead on " Darlin ", & Carl on " Does Anybody Know what time it is ?", as I recall. But yes, THAT, was '75. Later that year------December-------The Boys returned to The Denver Coliseum, with JWG on Bass, you on keyboards, And while Blondie was gone, Ricky Fataar still played on Druns. That was where Carl sang " TWOTS " , with Al, Mike, DW, you, & I think, someone else, on harmony. --------Ahhhh, The 70's ! ------------MJL, 78 y/o------------------RIP, Billy ! --------------The years go by too fast.
Danko Manuel exactly
Larry was a fucking fossil by this time. He had no clue who the Beach Boys were, other than by name. It's annoying to see him fake his way thru this interview, asking these paint-by-number questions. That's why he keeps going into the "dees and dose" voice - Larry always did that when he was bored and had nothing else to say.
"Pet Sounds" was the greatest album of the 1960s and it was made right here, but it was overshadowed by The Beatles because Americans weren't ready for The Beach Men.
Lucky us🎉
37:17 "You remember the date??!!" "yeah."
When Levon talks, you listen.
It's amazing how Levon and Rick look younger here than they did at Woodstock 1969.
Love the Band!
So do I Sue!
Did pretty good yourself Brian Wilson!
This expands off the original in so many new instrumental ways, theres some inprov i can hear. good work! id love to hear a full kirby 3 pet sounds
Damn, that big ol' brain of his was trying its hardest to squeeze another masterpiece out there! Once that big Wilson bass comes in, it's unmistakably him.
He's definitely a musical genius ❤❤❤❤. I love his music!! I wasn't born until 67.
handsome!
I thought that Brian was schizophrenic. No judgment. I thought that was his diagnosis.
Not sure but it was because of drug use. The 1960s and 70s were awful as far as drug culture especially in certain circles such as the music business, although there were some that stayed away from it. I was I teen in the 1960s.
@FlowersInSunshine they can give an initial diagnosis but a psychiatrist really needs to see someone over the year or years to really know for sure. So probably a misdiagnosed condition.
R t s e s e d e
good interview. Hard to believe 20 years have passed so quickly.
I remember as a young teenager in Toronto (1960's), seeing flyers on telephone posts, etc., for Ronnie & the Hawks, then Levon & the Hawks. Sadly, I was too young at the time to see them.
I'm looking for a version of this w just female vocals anyone???
the most real boy band of all time
WOW, Brian is a really cool guy!!
Regretfully, Melinda Ledbetter Wilson died in 2024. While she wasn't a musician, she played a significant role in helping Brian to establish himself as a solo artist.
Landy literally saved Brian's life and was responsible for his most healthy and creative periods post 1970, Brian has never again been as lucid, creative and healthy as he was 75-77 and 84-89. The story of Landy as purely evil is not true, and the real story of what happened is much more complex. What we can be sure of is Landy saved Brian's life twice, and that Landy also 100% crossed moral lines for his own gain, and he also apparently crossed some legal lines, though not to the point of being locked up. Melinda was like a gift from heaven for Brian, finally someone that really cared for him in a healthy way, its very sad to read of her passing, i hope Brians surrounded by good people now and hes living as good a life as is possible for him now.
Encantadores, fantasticos, talentosos e inolvidables!!! I love the monkees ❤❤❤❤
His honesty is great. "I was SO jealous of the Beatles!"
Richard Manuel’s philosophy was to be kind to everyone”-Levon helm. All he needed to do was be nice to himself though.😢
I'm sure we all wish Richard was still around and that we're still thinking of him! 🥲🙏
Richard ❤❤❤❤
Micky talking over the other guys and then having nothing to say<3333 I love him your honor he's never done anything wrong in his life
Thankyou for posting,great.
What year was this recorded?
Don't know but judging by the video quality I'd say 80's-90's.
@@ZeppoRunRanch - It is still a good video. It is hard to find the old version anywhere on UA-cam!

I had my 29th birthday at club 33 in 1989
The tree house opened in 1962 not 1964
where a documentry from 1980s?
I don't have that one.
I hope Brian finds joy in his children. He has no other family left. He seems to need a take charge person in his life, which Melinda was, overly so at times. I just discovered his daughters Carnie and Wendy have asked a judge to put Brian into conservatorship. Well done girls. Looking after dad ❤❤
Haven't you seen the home videos of him and his family at home? They are very close even carnies kids
God Bless you Brian. As Larry said,," You are an institution ". I wonder if the newest treatment they have could help get rid of voices. The latest is a non invasive ultrasound beam pinpoint directed to a minute part of the brain. So far they`ve only used it for curing addictions, but if directed toward a different area?????
I wish there was more of this....Peace and Love, Terry Tutor
That's all that I have.
Wonderful look back with Billy. Thanks.
There’s a picture of Vanilla Ice, who was at the top of the charts at the time, with Benny, dancing away It was about the time Benny was in the US filming this! Vanilla Ice recently reposted it as is quoted as saying “comedy legend! He was super funny!”
Gentle giant. ❤❤❤
I love it
Nick Walusko is so profound. I'm not going to use past tense.
The puzzling aspects of SMiLE are an important part of it. We can learn things from them.
I love Brian.
no pet sounds no sgt pepper
Carl and the Passions was, indeed, a “surprise”… it was incredibly weak without much ‘Brian-involvement’.
