This is the best spot for low level players who get one shotted by any dlc enemy. Just equip any bow with fire arrows and you can kill all 4 with timed barrel explosions, it one shots them.

Great farming area! According to Fextralife, it has a 2% drop chance, so this was a great area.

There is an easier location. A small camp west of Moorth Ruins with 3 Spear Messmer Soldiers that can be easily snuck up on and backstabbed

Doing this farm made me realize just how good Scarlet Aeonia is. Especially when compared to something like Messmer's Orb.

Its almost funny how many of these guys i have killed in two playthroughs, and have never seen the spear drop. I even had 80 arcane, so my base level item discovery is higher than normal. I've gotten most of weapons by just exploring. But the messmer soldier spear is the only one i havent seen, despite killing hundreds of these dudes😅

I got the weapon drop, but it isn't showing up in my inventory.

Can you also find the shield there?

The drop rate of this is abysmal. I got like 10 armour pieces already but no weapon.

Is it a paired weapon or you have to get one more to double wield it?
