I decided to make a short video of the Forge Blow Off Valve installed on my MK7 GTI. This video has no talking and no music, just pure sound (and some wind noise haha).
Install:
The install was pretty easy. If you can install an intake, you can do this. I would caution when removing the factory BPV that you get a good grip on the bolts and also the inner parts of the BPV. I almost dropped a bolt and a part of the BPV went into my engine bay (I was able to find it). Should you lose a bolt, Forge has graciously included a spare bolt for the BOV! Just one though haha.
First Impressions:
Under normal driving you can't tell. It can sound like a louder factory BPV. Once you've built enough boost you'll get that high pitched PSHHH (LOVE IT).
BOV's are not for everyone, I get it, but I have been grinning ear to ear every time it dumps air out. So good, so good.
