I love that they re-recorded some classic songs--but the drums sound weak. Especially the kick drum---no punch or bottom end. The drums sound too flat, compressed, thin, etc

What was special about this album is that unlike most bands, they didn't just throw together a bunch of songs and call it a greatest hits record---instead, they re-recorded every single song, and did them a bit different than the originals. It was a fresh perspective on some classic cuts.
Another thing about the time this was released the band didn't own the rights to ANY of their original recordings due to contracts signed when Jack was out of TSOL. that I think was part of the reason the re-recorded everything. Still an awesome collection of tunes!
