The Irreplaceability of Black Ops 2
Black Ops 2 is a game that means a great deal to me. It's a game I've spent more time thinking about than talking about, and I always found it strange that I couldn't quite get it out of my head. Something specific about this game just impacted me, and I always found that difficult to accept because Call of Duty has never been a series that strived for long-term enjoyment. However, this title, in particular, made an impact; and it wasn't just an accident. It was intended to be the outlier, as many put it. The one that still represented the series, but didn't emulate in the ways that were previously known. While this game stuck with me, I hadn't really thought of talking about it or replaying it, until I caught wind of Black Ops 6. To know that, after a decade, we'd finally be seeing a prequel to one of my favorite games; left me with an excitement that could only be quelled by replaying the game. After doing so, I knew I had too many thoughts to simply hold in.
There wasn't one aspect of this game that I didn't enjoy, nor did I remember not enjoying (aside from the hackers.)
The campaign left me speechless, just as it had done years back. The multiplayer invigorated me and also made me long. And the zombies? 'nuff said.
Black Ops 2 is an experience and cultural icon in my eyes. It shaped my childhood and my outlook on... life, really. It's something I'll remember for as long as I live, and it's definitely something that cannot be replaced.

Gemini Home Entertainment is a Paragon of Horror
Переглядів 8 тис.2 місяці тому
Analog horror is a subgenre that I've felt an immense amount of interest in over the last 4 years, however, one series in particular has left a massive impact on me, both creatively and existentially: Gemini Home Entertainment. This series compiles the absolute best aspects of analog horror and combines them with some of the most outstanding themes from films like "The Thing" and "Annihilation....
Captain Laserhawk: A Bizzare Gem

I recently watched Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix and woo-boy. Let's just say, I'm a fan. This show has single-handled combined numerous video game IPs and put them all into an outrun-inspired, cyberpunk-looking world. I talk about everything in this show because it all needs to be talked about. This isn't Bobbypills' first animated show, and I hope it's not their last. There are a few...
The Amazing Digital Circus: The Good, The Bad, and the Concerning
Переглядів 5 тис.11 місяців тому
The Amazing Digital Circus is the latest pilot from Gooseworx and Glitch Productions, however, for as hyped as it is: does it really live up to what it's being praised for? Perhaps and perhaps not. This video serves as a means of displaying the pilot's biggest strengths and weaknesses, whilst also looking forward to the future of the series. Music: Get Isekai'd - Gooseworx Lies You Tell - Macro...
If i didn't know you from discord, I would think this is a million + sub channel. The effort that was put into this video was amazing, and I love it. I usually don't watch long vids (you can ask Morphine) but this was definitely an exception. Hope we get to play bo2 one day when I don't get called in to work. 😂
I like both Hazbin Hotel and this show. Good critique of the pilot, though. 👌
I loved the MP weapon balance, you can literally pick up a gun, and do well w it, regardless if it was an SMG or Pistol (Tac 45 ftw)
OHHHHH I LOVE IT. ART. This is all art

Remy… come back bro…
How is this so small?
thank you for making an analysis video and not a boring plot summery like other youtubers lol. gemini is worth being studied in this manor. great video
Of course and thank you! Honestly, part of the reason I made the video was because I felt like there’s not a whole lot of videos that really go in detail about the visuals, art, writing, etc.
dude omg, you're like speaking right from my mind down to the AS bumpers. Ive been preaching this channel for years now and seeing videos about it just makes me so excited cause it's pushing new people to this series. Gemini has always been S tier analog horror for me. I could literally go on and on about these tapes. It got me into the horror genre, exploring classics and movie series like vhs. I could not be more grateful for this to spawn into my life. Its just sick as an art student to see these independent artist blossom and inspire. So excited for the final episode to come.
Bruh that smile clip scared the shit out of me get that out of here💀😭😭
My baddddd 😆
Gemini will always be the goat. I even have a makeship plush of the gardener.
GHE is my absolute favorite analog horror, hands down. It even inspired me to choose the genre for my study in speech class some years back.
"Giant planet sized eyeball is angry at earth and decides it should be assimilated" that's how i can just describe it from what i remember from watching it a few years ago.
Pretty spot on lmao
# anal OG horror
It's been a year since Old Bones and I check the official channel weekly in hopes of something, anything, coming out. I have watched Nexpo's video on GHE at least 500 times already (I put it when I go to sleep, it's so calming). I need more of this world.
There's 4 tapes left and from what I've heard they will be coming out soon! Also I can relate to you on rewatching the Nexpo video. His video was a major inspiration for the editing in mine. :D
@@Aspirish yeah I actually took a lot of inspiration from GHE for my own webseries, which now I have on standby because damn is it a whole deal to edit properly and convincingly. It really makes you admire those creators for putting out such quality in such short times
I do the same thing. I can't get enough of GHE
Gemini was actually the series that introduced me to analog horror
Great analysis! For a long time I've considered GHE to be not only my favorite analog horror youtube series, but I also thought it was objectively above most of its competition, but I could never put my finger on why, except that it had clearly much more effort put into it than those dozens of analog horrors that kids make in their phones at home (no diss to Mandela Catalogue here, if it works it works. But making good AH it's not something easy to do with little resources). Then you mentioned that thing about the series never losing its identity, and suddenly, it all clicked. I feel like even Local58 at one point wasn't very consistent with its writing, even if they always nailed the execution. But GHE nailed both imo, from beginning to end. Btw, have you seen White Stag Education? That series is, imo, the one that has gotten closest to GHE in terms of consistent storytelling, worldbuilding and high effort. Currently it's the one AH series I'm always looking forward to a new episode, and I can't recommend it enough for people who enjoyed GHE. Looking forward to more of your videos, that's some real high quality stuff!
I have not seen White Stag Education, but I will certainly watch it! And I completely agree. GHE always struck me as a diamond in the rough. There’s so many elements in the series that exude quality, it’s hard not to make comparisons.
Very good review of a very good series! Keep it up!
Local58 and GHE are the only truly good Analog Horrors. as someone who grew up with CRTs and VHS those two are the only ones that do the aesthetic right
I've got a discrod btw :) discord.gg/nAH2xdeDXZ

amazing vid, i aspire to be as eloquent as you when rambling abt my favorite niche media 😵💫
I actually get my clone to do all of the rambling. I’m just the editor.
Even with the boom in many Analog Horror series over the past few years, I still find Local58 and Gemini Home Entertainment to be the best.
I've compared every analog series that has come out after to Gemini, and none has surpassed it to this day. It's simply the GOAT.
this is the only series where i dont know what the cliche evil god is and i love it for that
I like the intentions of the iris being entirely ambiguous, because even though it’s essentially a living organism, we have no idea why it’s doing what it’s doing and why it doesn’t just completely consume everything immediately.

Can you recommend me like these type of animation series😢
I haven't seen this yet but, just from the clips, I love the little pixel art segments. Reminds me of some of the stuff they did with Mega Man Fully Charged (another somewhat unique yet very heartfelt show based on a video game series).
I think its still a little early to judge tadc, take a look at murder drones, it didnt really get its footing until at least two episodes in
User have earned yourself a new subscriber keep up the great work
Hey to be fair, some people do turn quickly if given the truth. I just thought that you had to be autistic for that to be the case though...it does make me ponder; is Rayman autistic? Anyways, I say that because I have seen such in person. Said person in this instance just happened to be autistic so I correlated the speed of the change with the aforementioned autism.
All of these sudden deaths are a sympton of the show's 2 main problems. "Too fast too little too late" & "Assuming the whole audience is abuncha Ubisoft simps."
I also generally think it boils down to pacing issues, as it seems like the show is attempting to finish plot points as opposed to actually developing them.
@@Aspirish It has the inverse of a filler issue. No time to breath, just go go go! When a show needs to be paced like a dance.
3:18 Bruh, it’s cuz this is Ubisoft the anime.

Great work. I really like the stylized title cards you made for each segment

This one took a while, so I apologize for the wait! Hopefully it was worth it though. Also join my discord teehee discord.gg/rNMxFWFVwn
I see you missed the scenes where the flower pot and table purposefully clipped through the floor
really good video - i loved you critisizing the amination bit and noticing differences such as how the distance between the characters changes or how they reappear in places - very good observational work!!!
not the worms LOL
That guy was so scared of that bug 😂😂😂
4:50 I also really like Caine's character because he doesn't seem like really an antagonist even though you think he would be. He genuinely cares about all the characters, giving them things to do to keep them from going crazy, and even trying to make an exit as he knows how much they all want to leave, and apologizing for all of the trouble his exit caused. So far, he seems to be the most complex character.
I’m also very worried for the future of digital circus and some people want to end it and no way that’s that happening
All they get is u did this wrong it’s annoying that they say the same jokes and some of ya’ll even complained about the camera glitching and it’s honestly the most stupidest complaint ever
Umm they have enough trouble with haters now people are telling them they have been doing their clips wrong and the pilot was so hard to make and they just get no suport
🥱 here we go another youtube commentator so boring
Helluva boss wasn’t trash it was amazing 😭
5:27 i did not notice any of these inconstant shots threw the pilot and i watched the pilot more than 6 times, im blind as hell lol
