Clearing Hay Off The Field & Preparing Beds
We are expecting some wet weather, therefore it is a good idea to do all those jobs in the field that need the tractor.
Today's agenda is to clear some heaps of hay and to finish preparing beds for the vegetable planting and also the bed in the field.
The vegetable garden will not be easy to work because of the thick grass (even though I have mowed and strimmed it a few days ago), and also the vegetable garden is very uneven with a number of holes and undulations. This will make it tricky for the tractor. I will have to work carefully here! I expect that rotovating the ground will level it very well.

After mowing the pasture, we found that an area could not be mowed because there was a lot of branches scattered around as a result of the neighbour having an eucalyptus grove cut down next to us. Early Harvesting Of Oranges

Its probably too early to start harvesting oranges, however the tree was left un-watered for most of summer and since the wetter weather has started, the oranges have started splitting. If you'll be using the land for agriculture, you should get rid of the ants, otherwise it's not necessary. Just by using the scarifier or the rotator it should get the ants away

very nice. Does it have a cab for rain?
I think that one can purchase a cab as an optional extra (not sure though), but I would imagine it is pricey. I think it's cheaper to buy a rain suit 🙂 or wait until the rain ends.
