My work 'Found Sound' from 2013 will be exhibited together with two other works during the Art Tech Tour education festival from 13 to 23 November 2023 in the Energiehuis, Dordrecht. The festival offers a varied program in which students experience the intersection of art and technology. The students look for sounds and capture them in the boxes, which are then placed on the turntable.

During his daily walk to his studio, Nico Parlevliet found a word on the sidewalk, which lay there in solitude and was surrounded by city sounds and the occasional crow. The word was clearly written with a child's hand, but did not bode well. The registration is a timelapse over a period of more than a month.

‘I wash my hands’ is a performance for two megaphones and someone holding them. Time ensures that in the end there is an understandable dialogue between the megaphones. They say: I wash my hands in innocence. Made during the time of the Corona pandemic, in which washing hands is essential to avoid getting sick or making other people sick.

hi, im an art student from colombia ...and i have found myself with a hard-to-explain question which is :" how can drips may be consider drawings? and what is the difference between drip drawings and drip paintings?
@alienbaroque you think the futuristic nature of the inflatables reminds you of d. Who? they are hand sewn and are inflated with a blower which goes on and off through an ingenious system. Nice you like the work!!
Reminds me of something from Dr. Who. When they move, they look alive. The sound is creepy. How did you make the inflatable forms?
