I bought a brand new 1990 Honda Civic hatchback (base model below the DX) it was the same gold color as your car. The car sold for $7600.00 brand new. It was a great car, ran great, had great gas mileage. I dove that car everywhere. Then in 1995 I bought a brand new Honda Accord LX 2-door coupe blue/green color, which was also a great car. I miss those Hondas. They were built to last and ran great too.
I don't know what style of exhaust this is and what it's called, I want to look for a style like this but I don't know to look for it...

remove the ABS system its garbage, grab a 40/40 prop valve and a civic ex 15/16 master cyl while you still in Oki. Stop by TMO for the car shipping process or visit the Camp Foster vehicle website.

Sounds really good. And this is 60.5mm right? I love that its subtle and you mostly hear the intake at WOT. I was about to get it via NENGUN for my BB6 but found it close to where i live for $773 plus tax picked up. Still debating though lol

I picked up an ef8 in November. Wish I would have been stationed in Oki, I'll be hitting a few shows throughout the year! Maybe I'll come across you one day, I'm in Arkansas. What camera are you using btw?
Dope! How did you get yours? & You sure you wanted Oki? Lol wasnt too bad there. Car seen was pretty nice. I'll be the Memphis area for the most part so I guarantee we'll cross paths. The crx arrived in california a few days ago so hopefully it'll be in Atlanta by the end of the month. Im using a fujifilm XT3 35mm f.2
@@socerman237 only reason I wanted Oki was for the JDM cars. Marines seemed to have ruined alot of the freedom that was available. Mine has actually been stateside a few years. Bought it from the 2nd US owner. You should definitely try to pick up some new oem stuff if your still in japan if you plan on restoring it. The prices state side for bnib nos parts are ridiculous.
@@RichardM479 I gotcha. Not lying about them ruining it for the rest of us lol. Only downside of Oki most 25 year old cars are a few grand more expensive than mainland japan. People do get lucky, but they usually end up still going through auctions. Good find on your EF8 hopefully you didn't pay an arm or leg for it. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many spare parts before I left. Luckily the previous owner kept all the OEM parts that were taken off previously. The only thing I really need are all the rubber window moldings and a new windshield. I've already started ordering a few items from japan yahoo auction!
What cars do you recommend to import from auction? I dont have a ton of money (3k USD total) but I need a second vehicle and have already paid the deposit on an importer. Thinking of getting a Sambar Truck/Van.

@@deadgenesis5188 Well, in my situation I don't pay to ship it because i'm in the military. They do it for me. I just have to pay the cost of driving from Atlanta to Memphis when I have to pick it up.

Slime in The lie including the exhaust, i was quoted $1200 shipped to California. I found a used one for 480 shipped. It’ll need to be polished up once i get it in a week or so.

I owned a 1990 Civic DX Hatchback, got it new. I still miss that car. big mistake selling it. That car was solid and never broke down on me. Had a blast driving all over So. Cal.

I have the same car but mine is blue its not a dx it a standard (STD) thats why there was no passenger side mirror and no rpm gauge
