06/12/2024: Fergus is my artist of the year. I'm seeing Emma tomorrow

I imagine watching my family play and laugh in a beautiful field of flowers in a large valley in the planes of Alberta as I sit and cry tears of peace. Or sledding down a snowy hill in a mountain forest with Christmas lights while surrounded by those who I hold dear. This piece is a masterpiece of love .

I was feeling a bit wierd, a bit stressed so I put this on. I love these Scottish sounding jazz pieces, they bring me a lot of joy. And this piece builds so beautifully. I saw the Modern Vikings last week and that was really moving. I feel on the verge of tears, this was so good. Where would the world be without musicians like these?

Yes and I have to thank the I-Tunes algorithm. Beautiful music... at first I thought it was Keith Jarrett but slightly different. I glanced at the computer and saw the name, Fergus McCreadie. What a talent and of course he is influenced by Keith Jarrett. The trio works very well together... all fine musicians. Hoping they come to the US one day.

I've just discovered this Trio (thanks to, love it or loathe it, the Amazon algorithm) and can't wait for an opportunity to see them live. This is a stunning piece on disc but it's on another plane live.

Saw you live in Edinburgh a year and a half ago. Waited with high anticipation every day from then until the album came out. Just as great now as it was then. Love your work, though I think this is my favourite.
