Awesome! Wish there was someone with that skills in my city that could do the job.
Be cheaper and simpler to buy a new Mac book.
what read/write speeds are you getting after the swap ?
That small thingy is the disk!?!?
Creo que no és tanta la diferencia de precio en Apple después de ver el vídeo 🤣
Tim Cook watching this video 🤡
Outstanding work! Truly masterful, and the video editing is top-notch. Hats off to ya!
Thank you so much!
where do you get the nand chips?
I have a question is it possible to de solder the soc m1 chip including the ram from 8 gb to 16 gb? as well as the ssd from base 256gb to 2 TB nands
It was that easy people were just scaring the s*it out of me.
Satisfactory! Great job!
System clock is incorrect
Proper fix
at this point just make more money at your job and buy a new laptop...
Can you upgrade the ram?
just don't buy mac and force windows for better experience / commit for linux.
Hi does the T-7000 glue work as well as the OEM adhesive that Apple uses?
Yes, it works great. It is important to use glue instead of tape, since 1mm width tapes don't have enough holding power for this screen.
Tim cooker won't be happy after seeing this 😄😄
I will pass
Can you guys do this for an M1 Mac mini?
mines will be done after all applecare service and be sold to another.
For real! They don’t use m2? Omg
Is it same with iphone storage
damn bro thats too much i thought its plug and play like other laptops lol I just upgraded my laptop , Asus rog ally and PS5 to 2 TB lol
what are the model# & specs of the new NAND?
Can you upgrade RAM as well?:)
does it work with the m2 air?
Wow thats so innovative and easy like all apple products.
Shows how greedy apple is.
that's why they are so expensive
From where can I buy the ssd ?
Dang. Apple really don't want people to upgrade their storage.
Can you tell what would be the cost ????
my toxic trait is thinking i could do this myself lmao, this chips have to match capacity? both have to be replaced? my m1's disk health is at 44% so i think i will have to try regardless whats the music btw? couldnt shazam it
you are very good
i know now why i wont pick a MacBook AIR
Apple, complicating your life since 2006
Surface pro 9 - pushed open the magnetic SSD lid, unscrewed and pulled out the old SSD and vice-versa with the new. 5 minutes total including adding some thermal paste.
and i changed the oil on my chevy tahoe within 5 minutes. LOL. wtf does a surface pro 9 have to do with this macbook video?? nobody asked. literally.
Does anyone know anyone in Sweden who can do this? :)
EU will again save us from this monstrosity of the last 10 years at Apple products
the magic is in the dfu restore, not in the soldering. greedy bastard apple
Good morning, what temperature is the air speed did you use to remove?
useless. just buy a 2TB SSD and an enclosure for it so you can use it for any device lmaoo
Respect that they charge CA$400 for 1TB, CA$500 for 2tb. Pretty reasonable for this job and specific storage type compared to apple's prices
Timewaste to watch it
They dont really care about the environment but only money. All these advertisements about upgrading products just to do something which 5% people will do, and others will just do it cause it's a trend on social media etc. Easy repair is the best thing any company can do for the environment. In third world countries like mine people will replace SSD and RAM and some will buy new one's others will just go with 2nd had used items. that's how we save environment and money.
This took 10 mins in windows to upgrade 😂
"It just works" 🤣
Very clean work
Can this technique be used to increase the storage on a 7th gen iPod Nano?
