How many do you put in your tree I have a 7 foot tree
If you are decorating all over the tree I usually do around 22-25 mixed stems. But if you are on a budget you can get by with around 14 all over and add other items to take its place. I like a lot of things in my tree and I tell people you can choose cheaper items and get a few of the special things you like in your tree.

I have been doing a peacock tree and hone Christmas decor for 4 years now. My tree is 7 feet tall with over 200 peacock ornaments from all over the world. It has won 1st place for 2 years. Everyone stops by my home just to view the tree and all the fireplace peacock decorations and the rest of the decor.

If you glue a similar colored pipe cleaner to the inner edge of the stem piece then it could be bent to give a more natural look.
