A few months ago I had the opportunity to shoot in an Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap. The temples in Angkor Wat are a sight worth traveling for, and the history behind them. Well, let's just say you should head there to hear about them. The video was shot with Angkor Wat Travel Tours in Siem Reap. If you're ever considering heading there, they're highly recommended. angkorwattraveltours.com/

    Great video ! I just eat plain chicken with salt and beef liver and lastly several oz’s of radishes (yes just radishes) no greens strictly Chickavore. Been at it for a few weeks now I’m always famished by the end of the day. No snacking period. Black coffee I guess technically has carbs so I’m screwing it up properly 😂

      Hey! I didn’t really calculate that, but I would guess that it was pretty minimal as it would only have come from the oil used for grilling the chicken.

    I have severe autoimmune diseases (Crohn's and Ankylosing Spondylitis) that have led to such severe food intolerances that I can only tolerate lean chicken breast, refined sugar, and fruit juice. So, my diet is primarily composed of lean chicken breast, orange juice, and soda. Without even working out I lost 40 pounds eating this way within a few months and had to buy all new pants. I guess my autoimmunity is a blessing in disguise? Food tastes horrible though like it did for you.

      Oh wow, sounds almost like you’re on an animal based diet. I’ve been watching Saladino’s videos and was considering it. But it looks like you’re forced to do that. Would the autoimmune disease ever go away? Love that you’re looking on the bright side though! The glass is half full not empty! 40 pounds in a few months is crazy 💪

    if u have trouble eating breast, then blend it with enough clean consumeable pure water. not too thick and not too watery. drink it quick without thinking about it. force urslef to drink it. if u cant then other approach would be whey protein isolate but they are expensive but quick to make and consume. when on whey protein isolate diet, increase ur carbs and fats consumption to fill ur belly so ure not low on energy throughout the day.

  • @Nika_Scott
    @Nika_Scott 6 місяців тому

    I've been steaming fatty chicken with no salt on or anything. It didn't taste good once it had cooked but then once it cooled down to fridge temperature it tasted like cold KFC without the unhealthy skin. I started doing this because when I'm low salt my mental health feels better and doing carnivore (red meat only) I could still taste loads of salt in the food. I'm eating purely steamed chicken right now and I'm getting the mental health benefits of low carb (low sugar) and low salt. P.S you'll get headaches when you dont get carbs because you go into ketosis leading to withdrawal from carbs and your headaches are a symptom.

    • @blakewantsabs
      @blakewantsabs 6 місяців тому

      Might try this, by fatty chicken, do you mean like chicken thigh? Any tips for getting over the headaches?

    • @Nika_Scott
      @Nika_Scott 6 місяців тому

      @@blakewantsabs I eat drumsticks 🍗 I have a steamer and it takes about 15 minutes plus cooling down. My tip would be just go zero carb first, eating plenty and salting the food how you like. For me it takes 10 days of feeling crappy then I'm fully in keto. I've heard in bad cases it can take up to a month but never heard of it taking longer than that. I'm no caffeine also. Going no salt after that is a big step but the mental health benefits of it are huge for me. Withdrawal off salt takes 7 days for me then I feel a huge boost to mental health. Drink plenty of water for the headaches.

    L advice, stop trying to make these soft people cope with their poor eating habits…instead you should give advice on being disciplined, stop making excuses…holidays come every year, there’s no reason to “enjoy yourself” on holidays, stay hard

    • @blakewantsabs
      @blakewantsabs 8 місяців тому

      Hey Penny, first off, I definitely agree with you! People with poor eating habits need to fix it, not trying to spread cope here in any way. The message in this video is aimed at those who are disciplined and have a solid training and diet regime all year round. I made this video because it was actually my first time in like 8 years not worrying about what I was eating while on holiday, and was honestly expecting a bigger hit to my progress. But the effects weren’t too different from my other holidays where I was trying to keep track of my macros and finding nearby gyms everyday. So if there’s not too much of a difference and you can stick to your progress? Why not enjoy your holiday that comes round once a year? I think the main thing is getting back to your routine and discipline the moment you’re back. And I definitely could have made this message clearer, so thanks for calling it out! Of course there are always some hard people who are built different like David Goggins, who doesn’t need a holiday, and maybe you’re wired like him so you can stay hard all year round! But I think for the vast majority who are disciplined all year round, they’ve earned a break while their on holiday, and shouldn’t feel guilty about it.

Just because it's an old channel I seriously don't get it how can youtube survive against instagram, tiktok etc YT is extremely stupid. I tried starting a new channel and it was horrible.. I got like 10 views on my video that I edited and worked on for many many days. I uploaded the same video to my old channel (it's not related to the channels topic so subs aren't intereste dint) and on my old channel that video just grew and grew now it is getting like 1000 views daily and it's a completely new niche and new audience. So yeah... starting a new channel is EXTRMELY HARD!
