Golf R is a beast of a car. Insane value for the money. I've seen it destroy BMW M's and Audi RS many times.

Do you have bald tires or is your air pressure incorrect ? Lotta noise coming from them.

Notice the BMW speedometer at the end of 3-honks was at 55mph...1.5seconds, 73mph. The BMW is fast but the GolfR is FASTER pulling away!

that is just a bad internet connection. Games predict the next position of the player, like all the time. If no data package is coming in, package loss, the game predicts the wrong way. Suddenly there is a package incoming, and he gets 'teleported', were he actually was, all the time on his game client side. Without prediction, the game would just stutter all the time. In iRacing, cars doesn't seem to get predicted and just blink out of existence. Fighting games slow down or pause, to keep frames synchronized.

As a golf r driver i gotta say that i‘m more impressed about the stock 340. i mean .. tuned r‘s are quicker than most think. And to see that a stock 340 can almost handle it .. mh.

Cameras don't catch speed here for some reason especially if you are a smooth driver. These guys are pretty slow but that's ok, never ever driver beyond your limits up there, it's a dangerous place. On average 4-5 people a year die up there.

Strong performance from the R! I used to have an MK7 R with a JB4 and I really enjoyed it. I was considering an MK8 R last year but the dealers were just gouging the hell out of the prices. I had an M340i ordered but found a deal on an X3M Competition that I couldn't say no to. Zero regrets. Yeah it cost a lot more than the MK8 R would have but the whole package is incredible and I didn't pay a huge marked up price.

Well that car is probably tuned because if you go stock the stock depending on what year it is that has way more horsepower but that car is lighter but you see that the Beamer was catching up
