Make no mistake of the importance of that 1980 team! After an unbelievable Series against the Astros, Mike and the 80 Phillies made us all proud! I remember October 21st 1980 like it was yesterday I was sitting on the floor my dad was sitting in an easy chair after Tug McGraw struck out Willie Wilson we gave each other hug and started to celebrate! My dad never seen a championship in his 52 years I was lucky enough to share that with him! Thank you Mike and the 80 team for giving us so many memories.

My favorite player of all time. I was 10 years old in 1968 when the Tigers won it all. Growing up near Detroit, Al was a legend.
