2024, the doctor still lives in my mental realm, and thrived in my robotic heart. Also, VENJENT seems like a reincarnation through drum and bass.
I remember spending inordinate amounts of time looking up his real name in the mid 2000’s, and his messages he would leave on mySpace. Hanging propaganda posters in my high school. Incredible musician and overall artist.
Still listening in 2024, and the more time passes the more I miss musicians doing personas like this. It was fun.
I still miss this guy a lot.

This is ticking me off that I can only find 3 albums of his music! I need at least another 6!

I found this song the day before my mothers cancer got so bad that she had to be put in the hospital. I actually wanted to show her this song but didn't have the time. The entire time I had the last line of this song in my head playing again and again. Unfortunately the next day she went away and left me...
I’m really sorry for your loss. I hope you are better or at least getting better slowly. I lost my best friend to cancer and know how hard it can be. I lost my mother to COVID a few years ago too. Loss can be painful but you are still here. Which is a good thing.

Who was financing Dr Steel? His videos are absolutely top of the range production value in every respect! He’s sort of came out of nowhere, then in a very short time disappeared without a trace. Unusual considering the money that went into creating this character…

I’m seeing a lot of comments on here discussing how he left and well i know why The answer is that there was some issues between Rion Vernon and the legal team who owned the trademark to Dr Steel. Sadly due to this, Vernon can’t sell/produce anything relating to the Dr Steel character This being said, One of the Toy Soldiers has been reviving the character with his own spin at m.ua-cam.com/channels/0dA_V8vjmCJvqg6IQJmhGA.html. As a result of what you have related, it has a lot of meaning with the lyrics of this same song. All of his work has been taken from him by those who should be his friends. And the video ends with his corporate brand locking him up. To himself and to his own character therefore. Horrible irony, especially for someone who in his songs recounts how unfair and commodified human lives are conditioned.
But you did go away and leave thee:( Hoping your waiting for the right time is all I'm saying. I'd hate to see the Dr with grey hair to remind us how old we're all getting. Don't think your songs age at all.

I still find it sad the final lyrics he sang to us were "Don't go away and leave me" and then he went away and left us.
If he made a return in the 2020's he'd conquer honestly. I find a lot of newer music shares his vibe and sound from people of earth. With the right funding you could make so much from his world building as well and the merchandise would have been amazing but what he made before was in short supply and not quite branded enough. With a loyal fanbase and and a half finished unreleased album he has a good foundation. Just wish he's make more music videos and though he hates live performances that Dr. Phibes est robot band would look good in hologram and so would he, no doubt. Animated music videos and the resurrection of his show would be the dream and I even envision an evil con carne like television series with rick & morty vibes but more robbing banks and going on revenge tirades than world jumping. He's real, raw, and mad with a great fantasy imagery.

Could be possible but a big part of the project for this guy was not to "sell" it perse. That's why he cut it short
We all knew Paul Reubens was Pee Wee Herman but it didn’t stop him from creating the art he wanted. Secret identity being revealed is nothing compared to an incredible project and it’s the same with the Dr Steel project. If he wishes to rebirth himself, we’d all be here for it and with the internet the way it is today? He’d blow up in less than a day.

I adore this sooo much. Dr.steel is by far my greatest hero and biggest inspiration. I wish more people would see what made him so admirable. It is a great pain of mine to know he moved on, and i wish i had found him before it was done. Ive been infatuated by him for over 4 years now and am still going strong. He has a good few other songs on youtube that aren't here. 12000 miles through space is a good one. He also has plenty of recordings and other fun little treats on his SoundCloud if you're so inclined. I hope hes happy, and as much as i wish he'd come back, im ever thankful for what was given to me. This is to me a new genre of music that is offensively unexplored by other artists. And i only hope one day to make the doctor proud with the inspiration gifted to me. All hail dr. Seel!
