❤❤❤❤
Nice score!
Cranbrook is clean. And the Studebaker has a great grill.
I have a pretty bad surge or pulse/constant jerking with light acceleration only at all speeds just seeing if anyone has heard of this or has had the same problem it does go away when i let up on the pedal or give more gas but medium throttle makes it happen for some reason no check engine light 2009 Impala 3.9
I have a broken bolt on mine, can I just punch it out and do that too or do I have to take anything else apart to get inside? I was thinking just punching it out and letting it fall and putting a bolt through. But I don’t know if there’s also a nut on the other side or not
Turns out the engine runs good, and was not locked up.
Looks like a 'smashing good time'!
@@richs.7373, I'm unlikely to ever drive in a derby again. But it was interesting to watch.
Started out good then your video went to S**t
Sorry about.the blurry video. I believe my phone battery started dying.
Thanks, but no need for the video since it was just completely dark all the way through.
No coverage of how to assemble the pump? Just talking then suddenly the gasket is on and the airhorn is being installed?
Need to see how the top comes off. Exact locations of screws and any linkages. We didn’t see the most important steps.
Whack
Sorry to ask such a dumb question ( trying to learn ). Is this a costly repair?? If I was looking to buy a car for cheap and this was the only issue on the car would it be worth fixing
ecotechs 2.2l or 2.4l timing chains can be easy done diy you have to focus on what your doing and remember where everything goes , take pictures as you go along to remember where things go and have the right tools and u could probably do it, shops will usually charge around a thousand dollars to do it and the timing kit isnt too expensive like 150-300 on rockauto . hope this helps
How long does it take to do this job my change is started rattling I parked it before it got worse but I just have to replace the chain and the sprocket if nothing else is damaged
Thank you hopefully this fixes mine
Did it lol
Cool! It was some good solid metal. 😃
Yes she was.
Sweet! On to better things
yes.
I have the same problem. But I can't get a new pedal that fixes it.
Are you serious here?
Got some neat old iron out there!
Especially that '55 Olds.
I was glad they still had the door for you to take home! Looks great!
I went back today and bought that Green Van door, but the van had crushed.
This should not have fixed the problem. P2122 means one or both 5 volt wires coming from the computer are not producing the 5 volts or close to that. Did you eventually correct the issue and how?
Thanks for the video. Was it saying reduced power before you fixed it?
Same question
Yes. It was saying reduced power. And the sensor solved the problem.
Did this fix your problem
Yes. New chain, guides and oiler.
Love it!
what a hack job- not a torque wrench in sight
Ooh, treasures
Yes.
Most of these cars are old undesirable 4 door cars that aren't worth fixing or restoring
You're correct. Most people want 2 doors.
Go ahead ! Congratulations for the new project
Love to have that 46 Chevy sedan, I have the business coupe, look good beside it !
Very nice
Thanks.
DIAMONDS in the rough !!!
A decent assortment
At the 2:00 mark, that mid-30's "hump back" DODGE panel truck is SWEEEET!!!
Was there in May...
That's awesome.
The reason why some say 47 - 50 is because the 51 - 53 had wing windows & 54 & early 55 had wings & the one piece curved windshield. I think 54 was also the first year of the automatic in a pickup. It was on the column too.
Sad that salvage yards in iowa. They sold and crushes metal high prices
You take the rusty front group at 28:34 (Looks like a late 40's International to me) cut the back of it down. make the hood hinge still and hide your BBQ in there. (cool yard art with a purpose)
Absolutely. Lots of great barbecue and shopndecore pieces.
Those Chevy trucks changed in 1964 - '66. The 1960 - 1963 had the knee knocker a pillars.
I always forget which is which.
Couple of nice 84 so Ford full-size broncos when you went in. Those OBS trucks I'm bringing money especially short beds take them to Texas or just about anywhere in the rust belt
Thanks for going through this yard. They are getting harder to find but if somebody's willing to travel number of ours is still a lot of them out there. A couple of ideas for you. First of all I'm not knocking you for not knowing what each one of these are year specific models. If it's important enough you can look at the rear plastic lenses and it'll bring you right into the right year usually. Because I'm the older vehicles they have the year a manufacturer on the lens. And so many of the cars and truck lenses are one year only. 67 through 72 Chevy C10. 67 is the only one without the side marker lights. And it's also the last year for the small rear cab window. I didn't say they all had small windows in 1967 I've got one that I've owned since the mid-80s and it has a big window. 67-68 have the same front grill that is painted. 69 and 70 have the aluminum grill with aluminum bar going to cross the center. 71 and 72 have the egg crate grill in it. One other would-be the 74 through 77 Camaros. Same basic body just that 76 and 7 had the wraparound window like to 78 & beyond. 74 and 5 had the smallest rectangular square window that did not wrap around like the early 70s Camaro. The knee knocker cab was 1960 through 1963. I'm not sure where 1964 falls in that. But 1965 and 1966 where the updated models and didn't hit your knee or time you got in and out of the truck. I didn't have that Knotch design like early sixties. And also 1955 Chevy pickup had two different body styles. Early 55 is like the early fifties and late forties Chevy. Late 1955 Chevy's had the same body style basically of the 56 and 57. Course the 57 Chevy truck had two ridges going down the hood similar to a 57 Chevy hood on a car but without the bullets at the end. Google lands if it's on your phone and you take a picture it's not always right but you can use it to help you figure out as well. I'm not telling you how to go about your business just trying to be helpful because you definitely have an interest in this and I like to see you have success. As I've said before thank you for getting exercise for me too. This way I get to see a good portion of the salvage yard without having to climb around through it.
Thanks for the feedback, and information. I'm a 41 year old former mechanic, and always forget about about the tail light dates. Oddly enough I once owned a '67 c10 that had a big back window. Titled that way, anyhow. It was either a special one or somebody had changed the cab. I do love my trive five Chevrolets, '56 is my favorite. Really, I love any Chevrolet or Buick. I'm going to keep making these videos. Will most likely return to this yard next year, and do a longer video.
I like it's..all the vehicle looks great..
Thanks.
My kind of 'Yard! Shame that Karenization has made much of Mesa County go full snoot-mode
Especially the down town area.
Where’s the Chevy s10’s
I don't recall seeing them. But there must be a few in there.
*Edit. The advanced design Chevrolet is most likely a 1954 due to the full windshield.
Great video, congrats on the job man! A hello from Brazil 🇧🇷👍
Thank you. I'll keep capturing old vehicles on film.
the burned up caprice or impala is actually a buick
I like the yellow short bed dodge . Thank you for taking time doing this video. I am in canyon lake Texas
its working
No homo but nice legs 👍
Enjoying the videos - I think i binged watched 5 of them lol
Thanks. I plan on making another Video this Saturday.
