far from the truth. If you take apart each song since the first album, you'll find that most songs have complelety different structures. Not talking about their poppy songs. but look at the willing wells and songs like gravitys union or the crowing. those songs vary a lot. also look their slow acoustic songs and their funky songs like number city. so much influence from other genres. But i will agree that they use basic chord progressions mixed with creative riffing.

Year Of The Black Rainbow was good, just not as good as any of their other albums. From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness and Second Stage Turbine Blade are their best ones if you ask me.

nah it was auto tune

Their songs are actually pretty dam basic. Each one has a similar structure, and the chords are all very similar. That is just what Travis plays, though, Claudio is amazing at what he does.

First off, I know that auto tune can be used live. Still there is a HUGE difference between echo-effect and auto tune, idiot.
