Icebergs and a natural arch! Hiking in Newfoundland
This stunning 2.9-mile loop passes by a resettled community and a natural arch, with beautiful views of the rocky coastline throughout. We were lucky enough to see several icebergs close to shore. Lower Little Harbour, Twilingate, Newfoundland.

Bonavista Cape Shore Trail to lighthouse | Dungeon Provincial Park | Newfoundland hiking

A scenic (and flat) 5.7-mile out-and-back trail along the coast of Bonavista, Newfoundland, ending in a view of a lighthouse and cliffs where seabirds nest. If you come here, it's also worth the short drive to Dungeon Provincial Park, which takes only a few minutes even though you have to go slowly because the gravel road has lots of potholes.

Problem is though that I have books in every single room. Including the attic. We have my father in law’s engineering and French polishing and woodworking books, law books, children’s books, fiction books, cook books, craft books, etc, including a kindle with a huge number of books on that. My children don’t want children so there is no need for them anymore. I intend to take them up to my local school to see if they want them.

My husband, a pastor, has over 1,400 titles. I know because I have digitally inventoried them. I don't mind living in a library. I do mind packing, moving, and unpacking 1,400 titles. We used to move house on the average of every 29 months. The work would be worth it except, we are old (but he is still pastoring), he doesn't re-read, he consults only a few hundred of his books, and they are scattered. There is no replacing them with digital copies since they are in a non-fiction, theological/churchy genre. So, when Marie Kondo said bring out all your books into one place, I drew the line. 😆We've been married for 58 years so it is what it is. I agree with your points. Thanks for the orderly presentation.

LIBRARY GOALS. Yes, I 100% agree. I tried 'decluttering' my books many times but end up buying more, theres nothing like a physical book, I never read digital books and I've only listened to a few audiobooks (mainly informational ones) and my brain just inputs it very differently. this is how I feel about music too. how I feel about most things. if there are too many potentially-breakable supply-chains between me and my 'possessions' then I don't really own them and can't really rely on it. Also: how did you organize your library? I see you have some categories. my library is not very organized in any normal way, mostly organized by 'favorites' and 'classics' and 'nonfiction random' and 'need to read sooner' and 'need to read eventually' and 'sentimental' etc. lol and nOt even alphabetical

Not sure why so many Dems seem to be under the impression that Trump supports, let alone intends to implement policies developed by the heritage foundation in project 2025. Trump has explicitly said multiple times that he has nothing to do with protect 2025 and isn't even very familiar with it or it's contents. Meanwhile Kamala lies through her teeth about Trump wanting to institute project 2025 policy recommendations and other extreme things like federal abortion bans that he has publicly said he doesn't want or have any intention of doing.

For most of my life now there has been an unrelenting push from the right, looking to undo every bit of progress made since 1900. Most of the people supporting this think they'll get something good out of it, but the tycoons and the church leaders leading this charge - they don't share. You keep voting to own the libs, you'll wake up one day to find you have no rights, no money, and nothing left to call your own. "You load 16 tons, and what do you get?"

Please stop calling these people conservative. They are not. They are Regressive. You can call them policies, but they are not policies. They are political creeds with no foundation in economic reality. They only think in terms of enriching the rich and enslaving the poor. If you believe in any of their nonsense, you deserve what they desire to give you- economic calamity.

@@Kepora1 my guy they aren’t just a think tank. They lobby for these policies and given that usually under conservative presidents most of it gets put in place each time yeah it’s something to worry about. They are constantly in contact with congressional and administrative policy makers to get these things done. You acting like it’s a novel or something is ridiculous. I don’t know if any of it will be implemented but don’t think they won’t try any way about it and a great deal of it is in my opinion very sketchy they are literally working on getting a database together of job applications of people onboard with this policy to put in all the necessary positions of the administrative and judicial apparatus should a conservative president win. Do your research man you might be surprised what you find

It seems Project 2025 is good for businesses... and that's all that matters to some people. The almighty dollar. Also, I'd like to point out the Church and Christians are NOT the same. Haven't been for hundreds of years. As an actual God-loving Christian, I am incredibly offended at what the Church does in His name. We were tasked to look after the land, and all the people in it. Project 2025 does none of this.
