Good job my guy… I hate to be “That Guy” but technically, this isn’t a pole barn… or at least around here. We, as in everyone around builds them using actual power/communication poles. I have a 60x20x12 and it’s built with 12’ sections of 45’ class 3 power poles. Regardless, you done an awesome job!

I'm probably too late to comment, but first of all excellent job! Personally I'd add another building vs adding on. Stick with 10' deep and increase width...maybe 20'? You've shown you can handle the 10' pieces by yourself, and if you get into a 20×20 or something things get tougher. I'd lay down the crusher run first so you don't have to monkey with it later. How many peices of tin did u have to use? I just got a 10x12 framed up and a buddy is giving me some old tin aswell and was wondering how many sheets id actually need?

My brother's did that kind of roof and in the winter 3 years later she collapsed luckily nobody was in it when it collapsed

You could put solid color on the roof and clear on the walls for the back part so its still enclosed for some storage but you get dappled light through the back wall. Might help with cooling if it gets too hot to have a window open up into a little shade

I'm doing something as such myself and I appreciate you sharing this. This gives me the confidence I needed; I too am cheap! One reason is because I don't have the financial means and two is because I don't trust the "pro's" to do for me. Hell I can do as many of them do my own damn self which saves me the money! I don't know the technical terms of headers and such just need to know where to screw my boards to give the strength to keep on standing thru the weather. I know what the posts are and that's it! Hahaaa went and got pressure treated ground contact posts and 2x4's I have inherited some tin roof panels and many long self driving decking screws I cheated a tad for I also bought some metal joist hangers which will help in hanging the 2x4s myself (rafters? What I will screw down my tin roof panels on lol) I believe will help in strength too. Idk. FYI I'm a 58 yr old 100lb woman ... Wish me the luck and wisdom to get this done where it serves my purpose and doesn't look as janky as the tarps i had to immediately put in use due to rain. ( My uncle had died and I had to get his belongings out of his rental home and I have no where to store them so that I can sort through it all for replacement, keep, sell, donate and or trash) this wasn't planned for whatsoever and came on suddenly too... So please send me the good vibes that I am truly in need of! I in advance give my appreciation and thanks for all those that do! Not bad at all for $300. Good job 👍 in my opinion you can’t have enough space. I would leave that one be and use it as a tool shed and build a bigger one for your mower etc.

I really like your method for installing your rafters,its easy for one person to do and should offer good strength. I need something like this to put my rabbit cages in and to store rabbit and chicken feed. This will fit the bill nicely, thanks.
