@@jamesgoldner1126 That is really sweet of you to say! I do see her babies every day. I've known her for 3 years and got to see her bringing up 3 babies last year and now 2 this year. It's an incredible experience to see. I absolutely love our little friendship. She brings me so much joy.
Baby raccoons love water. We usually put out a tub of water for them to play in. Bear cubs also like to play in the water, but the tub often doesn't survive them.

You're lucky. The mom raccoon I fed was a deadbeat. She'd dump the two through my cat door and go pass out on my swing. 3 different times. It was cute at first, but she's out for 2 hours, and I'm stuck babysitting. I put them on the swing _with_ her once, and she waited til I was back inside, then stealth dropped them back in. Didn't know they were inside til they started whining. Laziest mom, ever. 😂

@@kendrafrancesco5925 Oh boy, do I ever feel OLD!! Our family moved to Seaside, Oregon in 1967. My Mother loved making day trips. I clearly remember going to see this shipwreck! When I saw these pictures of the wreck, the way it appears now, I felt as though I had come full circle! Just like me, the ship is there but because of the years of the Ocean's endless pounding of the salty waves, she is nearly gone! A lifetime. My lifetime. Our lifetime. Wow. Thank you for sharing this!
You're welcome. The first time I saw the bones was 30 years ago, and I was in my 30s. It's been at least 20 years now since I saw it last. I'm surprised she's still there.
