The Ball Cover Lady Gomm, wife of Governor Gomm used the first issue of the "Post Office" stamps to frank her invitations for the fancy dress ball of September 30, 1847. The envelopes of this invitations are known as the The Ball Cover.
TreSkilling Yellow - postage stamp - Sweden

The normal three skilling stamp printed in Sweden is colored green while the eight skilling stamp was printed in yellow. However, due to an unknown error (but most likely the three skilling plate was accidently replaced by an eight skilling one), the three skilling stamp was printed in yellow, creating the Treskilling Yellow Stamp.

Nice example of an Inverted Jenny auction. 2016, one went for US1.3million. In contrast one just sold in Spring of 2020 for $215k - quality was much higher on the one from 2016 and on the one in the sale shown in this video.
Only 215K ? That was a steal. That stamp should have fetched 1/2 a million on a bad day...no questions asked. Just my opinion mind you.....maybe because I'm just an old collector of stamps from when I was a kid back in the 70's.
Some inverted Jenny's were damaged, the lowered price might have been for one of those

Nice video, but classic bit of American exceptionalism there at the start with the remark about how “the inverted Jenny is the world’s most famous stamp..” I think you’ll find that distinction belongs to the Penny Black, by quite a considerable margin too.

most stamps are not rare, they have value but that is not the same as rare.

100 sets of these commemorative stamp sets were purposely printed right-side-up as a kind of nod to the original printing error, and making these a valuable subset of the Inverted Jenny commemorative stamp set. As of this time, only a small number of the right-side-up stamp sets have been noted publicly.
