Hdmi is digital, analogue is analog, you can't send a digital signal over to an analog monitor over 1 cable it just doesn't work you need a hdmi to vga converter box and you can still get audio with it
Yeah I know it know, that you need a converter. This video was for reclamation purpose.
Use VGA TO HDMI not HDMI TO VGA..Laptop is analog signal (VGA)..HDMI is digital signal
That cable wasn't working even the other way around.
@@JanImrek You need active Hdmi(from gpu or laptop) to Vga( that you connect to vga type monitor/tv) Then you need to supply it with power you get with active adapter usb to micro usb that you connect to the laptop usb or motherboard usb port or a power brick from a phone

@@loadingSteam Yes I solved it with this kind of adapter... HDMI port plug to Laptop, PC, Console and VGA port to monitor... You can find this kind of adapters on Ali, eBay and probably your local eShops :)

I have the same HDMI to VGA converter he uses and Its working fine without the HDMI switch as the guy using in his video. My problem 3 years ago was that the CABLE HDMI to VGA I ordered didn't work. The problem that my cable wasn't working was probably that it didn't have the circuit converter from Analog input to Digital. That's my theory.
Probably that is VGA to HDMI and not HDMI to VGA there is a big difference.
I tried it both ways, on a different monitor which has also HDMI and VGA input. But the cable didn't work. Maybe a faulty cable.
This cable is usable only trhue existing VGA on laptop to HDMI monitor and only if your laptop or pc supports trhowing digital output trought VGA connector. It is not usable from hdmi to vga monitor.
ViihdeJukat does this mean that if that happens, ur PC monitor is not compatible with displaying it?

I have same cabel and same problem. I buy it for ps3 to conect to the monitor and it's not working
They send me another one and I had the same problem, bought new monitor still the same. Then bought this from Ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/361457321693?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and it's working like a charm. :) HDMI to PC or in your case to PS3 and through VGA cable to monitor or TV.
