To help understand why Shinobu is distrusting of sci twi: Shinobu is from the year 1912, and a world where demons are humanoid but not fully. In her eyes I’d like to think that since none of them know their from different worlds. Shinobu is under the impression that sci twi is a demon in disguise and is just hiding or in denial that she’s a demon. Shinobu isn’t a fully trusting person. I’d personally headcanon that the majority of these characters have trust issues. Shinobu’s is more noticeable than the rest. So she’s basically protecting her inner peace by distrusting sci twi and not believing her. To Shinobu there is no reason for her to trust sci twi. Hope this helps<3

It’s a personal headcanon, she is purple after all. I see no harm in making her black or white, since- again, she is purple and doesn’t have an actual canon skin color (that is realistic.)<3
The idea of them being colors is to make em like you like, thats the purpose.
