You did a great job with this review. I have had a 191 for almost 15 years and want a 170 because of the low draft and smaller footprint for use up and down our innercoastal creaks. This boat and the Skiff are perfect. Thanks.

I can't take my jetboat there because the ramps are filled with seaweed. Seaweed everywhere all the time. You'll notice it even on this video from 3 years ago. If you look at all the boat ramps in Miami on google earth you will notice Matheson the dirtiest..

The same thing happen to me, my dad, and some friends. We were on our boat which is a 19 ft center console t-top trophy with a mercury 150 on it, well we were a couple of miles offshore and we hit a wave too fast and knocked off the bilge pump discharge and we started taking on water and our one bilge pump couldn’t keep up. We pass people fishing and they get mad while we are telling them we are taking on water. Mind you this mercury 2 stroke cannot get us on plane and the back of the boat has about 6 inches of water in it. So I had taken off the bucket to do something and forgot to return it so we made a makeshift bucket out of a oil jug and we still couldn’t get it out fast enough. And finally we see land and we are planning to beach it on a no parking boats, public beach. So my dad is really mad and he says hold on there’s no slowing down. By this time we have all but my dad and a friend have went to the bow and we beach it and we have a half railing on our boat and when the boat almost went on it side I did a full front flip over the bars and landed it. Me and another one of my dads good friends go get the rental truck because my dad wrecked his truck, well we get to the boat launch and we try to get it on the trailer but we missed the first time and the second time we submerged the motor underwater and wouldn’t start I guess because the batteries were underwater and we crank it up on the trailer and pull the drain plug and sat there for 45 min watching it drain and later we found out that our rubber piece had busted. But now we have 2 bilge pumps and a new deck and gas tank later it’s running good but the hydraulic cylinder is leaking.
